Over the weekend Sonic Racing ran a Pescarolo 01 in a race around Laguna Seca. We had some difficulty in the opening laps keeping up with the factory diesels of Audi and Peugeot, but we eventually managed to slip past the Audi at about half distance, and with 5 laps left, we got past the Peugeot as well. Score one for the gasoline powered cars on the grid.

This weekend Sonic Racing also took delivery of their Porsche 911 GT3 RSR that will be used in the GT Tuesdays series. Originally we were trying to work out a deal with Ferrari to run a 430GT2, but in the end it proved too expensive to take the Italian route. Instead, we got our shiny new car from Stuttgart and took it out for some set up work around Sebring.
