Yeah, looking @ vids from ppl who got the demo code early, Bernese Alps looks like a very fast-flowing track. I expect the laps to tick by in a hurry in cars like the prototypes and GT's

Hi there!

Ok handling is much different, but awesome. It is a very flat out circuit, but the car can understeer alot, and you really need to work on getting the car stable going into the corner, round the corner and setting the car up coming out of the corner. It's brilliant!

Mark and Duncan, you two look like you don't feel too good? I think you should go home for the day. pale

i run with all assits off but they give you this choice of normal and sim steering and i hate the sim steering!

Cars look really good, handling is abit more real and yes the cars understeer but i think thats more about the track as your never lower than 3rd in the ferrari plus im hitting 7th!!! on the longest straight.

Well, all I can say is, that they need more work on this. The graphics are out of this world, don't get me wrong on that, but the steering!?!? My nan can turn tighter corners in her mobility scooter! And yeah at that speed! And the AI are about as much good as a chocolate fire guard. They will NEVER move over from their line, even when you are lapping them or are faster than them! And they brake on the straight when you are behind them! So far, I am not pre ordering this game, because its not worth the £40, I'd rather get it on sale. Sorry, but not the best game I have ever played. Not the worst, not the best, about a 6/10, mostly because of the graphics and the track is pretty good. But what kills it for me is the horrendous amount of understeer.

We played this at Silverstone, not fired up the demo yet but I imagine it's pretty much the same game, and I don't understand why everyone is going on about the terrible understeer. Have any of you guys driven an Impreza WRX or Ferrari at high speeds? I've driven my car pretty fast and driving a car fast into a corner is supposed to give you understeer unless you slow down and control it. That is why race teams use slicks and front aero to push the car down at the front to help it around the corner. If you go along a straight piece of road and then turn full lock left or right then the car is going to understeer in that direction.

We turned all asissts off except for using the clutch as the button was mapped on the top, and using Sim steering the cars felt extermely real. You could feel the weight of the cars simply through a pad. Trying to drive the Impreza fast produced understeer as we were trying to do impossible things with an AWD car and you could feel all four wheels working in the game. At the small chicane around the back of the circuit its very fast and has a few camber changes in the road, Ian lost it because the physics reacted to teh real elevation change and weight shift of the car. I tried it after watching him and you could feel the car get lighter and try to pull away from you so I backed off for it. It was brilliant and I think it is a huge leap forward in the Forza physics.

I understand that everyone is different but it is the closest game I have played on a console that is close to matching the PC sims.

I played against the Professional AI at Silverstone and I simply couldnt catch the front running car whilst I was getting hassled by the AI behind me.

I think its because you are driving a 458 or STI in a cold environment, and that affect its heavily on this game now. I suppose I gotta play it for quite a while and compare everything. So far I have only done the 458 with TCS off, Stability off, ABS off, normal steering. I will play it a bit more later.

to me its god awful!!! I can't remap anything and without paddles im having to use automatic!!! ARRGGGG.

normal handling feels just like FM3 but with the benifits of new tyre data and suspensions physics tweaks.

Sim handling just feels odd.
