Season 2 Announcement

This may seem a little early, but I'd rather have all the details done and be ready to start racing straight after season 1 is finished (in around a months time).

Before I start, I want to thank everyone for the cracking support over the past few weeks, this has been something that a lot of us have wanted to do for a while, and this first season was really just to find out if Race Pro can still be used in some form, as it is by far, the best racing game on the Xbox 360, and has often went unnoticed, underestimated and unappreciated as a result of its early bugs and glitches and its dodgy visuals. The support that this season has had is really helping Race Pro's cause, and I hope that more people pick it up and join in, because its as cheap as chips!

So, first things first, the ''TORA Race Pro Appreciation Society'' (TORaPAS?) will be officially founded to run Race Pro related events within TORA and to promote Race Pro's awesomeness. It basically just gives me an excuse to have my own mini-TORA within TORA. Although, really, its just to have a collective of people working together to run everything, because, as entries get bigger and seasons get longer, its work that I can't do on my own. I spend quite a bit of time making up tables and posting them on here. So basically, i'll need people to join the TORaPAS who would be willing to help set-up a good system of running things (ahem... Google docs).

If you have read this far. Well done. Here is the interesting bit:

For Season 2, the Touring Cars will return as the headliners, running an eight event season with a new race format. It will also use the 2008 World Touring Car pack (DLC Pack 2, 560ms Points - See DLC thread), hence the introduction of the Volvo C30, the Lada 110 and the SEAT Leon TDI.

Running along side the Touring Cars will be a separate championship (yet to be defined...) for single make cars, running a six event season.

The season will last 16 weeks, with the Touring Cars alternating weeks with the Single Make season. The last two slots freed up by the six event Single Make season will be used for two special events (also yet to be defined...)
