Ferrari 458 Challenge 30th June @ 20:00 hours BST @ Mugello Full (Forza Motorsport 3)

Dear all,

I am pleased to announce that the 3rd special event for the National Motorsport Week will take place on Thursday the 30th of June @ 20:00 Hours BST.

The Ferrari 458 Challenge event at Mugello Full Circuit on Forza Motorsport 3.

The 458 represents a massive improvement in every way on the 430 predecessor, the cars in race trim are proving to be highly competitive on the GT scene so a field of them ought to be an impressive sight!

Rules –


Stock Ferrari 458 only.
Cars will be forced to stock tuning and forced upgrades off (essentially stock cars)
Damage will be set to Cosmetic
Please keep paints as per normal TORA rules no products deemed unstable to those under the age of 16 (IE no tobacco, alcohol and adult products)


Event Itinerary

Please make sure you are online on Forza Motorsport 3 and you have checked that you have no connection issues 10 minutes before the meeting is due to get under way.
You will receive a invite from your lobby host. If you do have a connection issue, please let the lobby host or chief marshal know that you cannot connect,

Qualifying -

Qualifying will consist of 4 flying laps (lap counter will be set to 6 laps)
Collisions will be forced off
Damage will be set to Cosmetic damage
There will be a 5 second roll off delay
The Grid will be set to Random
Once you complete all 4 flying laps you will meet in the first corner so that the lobby marshals can take down your qualifying time and conduct scrutineering if required.
Times will then be uploaded to the Live Timing application by the chief marshal of the meeting


Race –

Each Race will be set to a pre-determined number of laps which will total approximately 20 minutes of track action.
You will receive your lobby invite a short time after qualifying. Please let the lobby host or chief marshal know that you cannot connect if you are having a connection issue

Race 1

The grid will be ordered as per qualifying times.
You will race to the end of the set number of laps and confirm with the lobby host at the end of the race your finishing order.

Race 2

The grid will be ordered as per the reverse of the finishing positions from Race 1 within your lobby.
You will race to the end of the set number of laps and confirm with the lobby host at the end of the race your finishing order.

Damage is set to Cosmetic Damage

Once race results are confirmed results will be updated by the Chief Marshal

i had to try. not fun being held up and the rest of the field catching up, and i clearly had a run out of the final schicane. now that the race was over i prolly couldve set you up by me going wide into the corner, then cutting to your inside through the corner instead. but instead i tried to sneak my Ferrari down low and you squeezed me out like an empty bottle of toothpaste. Also, that last lap was my fastest of THAT race, despite the squeeze job

replays on my SF.

I finished 4th in the 2nd race, not 5th.

Um Dunc I finished 7th in Race 1. I know everyone expects me at the back but not this time!

Race 2 was effectively over after I was spun round whilst running second. After that it was just circulating round at the back until the flag with little chance of closing the gap. Well done to Stonewall for the win, kind of hoped to have been up there with him

i think aar facepalmer finished in front of me in the first race
