Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
I hope everyone is still up for this !? `cause I managed to sneak the Xbox with me down to France so I am ready for racing !
Who will grab the victory in this great race of Europe ? Will it be Keyzer with his BIG roll right now? Will someone end up doing a backflip at the end of the long straight? And who will be the first to hit the wall and loose a wing..?
Let´s tune in for the race tonight so we can find out !
I hope that this championship still lives ! ´cause now it is more alive then it could ever be right now.. only a few point between the top driver !

Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
NRT will have 2 cars on the track at Valencia today. Rickard Olsson is looking to close in on Keyzer in the championship with another great result while Micko is trying to find some luck after some disappointing results. Lagout from 2:nd place in Turkey, a 5:th place in Monaco after taking pole because of a huge crash on lap 1, and steadily holding 2:nd in Canada before touching the wall and had to go in for a unplanned pit-stop See you at the track guys!
Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe

Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
Seems like it´s going to be some good racing tonight ! I just want to warn you though.. since I am away, I have no steeringwheel and only a controller so IF I hit someone, it´s not my purpose.. I think F1 is REALLY hard to drive with the controller.. but I will do my best !

Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
Thats exactly what I thought!! Do you wanna know the wierd thing? I was on "Fast" throttle mapping, everyone else (from what I know) was on "Standard" and yet they ran out of fuel quicker!

Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
Yeah thanks for the great battle in the end ! It was some close action at the end of every straight ! Sorry if I bumped in to you at some points !
I ran out of fuel for the second race in a row.. :S too aggresive on the throttle I guess..
I just want to inform you that Micko is retiring from the championship due to the lack of connection.. that´s the second time he lag out on the last lap, IN THE LEAD.. I bet it gets kind of annoying at some point.. :S
I hope that you other guys are still up for the rest of the season though ! Alot of great races still to come !

Not a problem! I think we had a few bumps at points but it's gonna happen when you get attack vs defence lol!
Ahh that's a shame. I will inform Matt about that. Thanks Rickard!
Will definetly be here for the rest of the season! That is a guarantee! F1 is my passion!!

Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
Well what can I say.... What a race!!!! Qualified 3rd but shame about the start of the race... Someone took me White bull and banbino thug off the track. Which put me dead last. Worked my way up got to second on the last lap due micko firstly running out of fuel, then everyone including me were running out of fuel at the end as well! I thought keyzer had the win but I had that extra juice on the last straight and nicked the win by a tenth of a second! Photo finish! Great race guys see you all in 2 weeks for silverstone!

haha so everyone ran out of fuel !? :O Fantastic race however if that´s the case ! ;O
Don´t know about the start though.. Since I wasn´t using my regular internetconnection I don´t know if I were lagging or not.. but in the start, I was starting 6th and came up on the inside behind someone.. but I didn´t touch him.. to me it looked like he carried to much speed in to the first corner and outbraked himself and went straight in the corner instead of turning and collected 2 others. Which gave me a 3rd spot with Micko in the mirror ! But then I got turned around by Johnny3600 after the bridge and by that ending up last in the field. Hope you didn´t do that on purpose !? Great race, m8s !

I can assure you, if I had done it on purpose, I would have A) Said sorry at the race and B) Admitted it here! It was probably where I had someone on my left and trying not to out brake myself! So, sorry about that!!

No, I know mate ! In this championship I would say that everyone is a gentleman-racer.. Everybody drives with great respect for eachother, and WHEN and IF anything happens, it is clearly by a small mistake ! this is just like the real F1.. we are on the limit ALL time and the slightest mistake could be a disaster !

Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
It is a pleasure to race with all of you guys! Everyone drives fair and thats what its all about.
Yesterday at the race I was leading with maybe 20-30 seconds after Keyzer lost his frontwing. I put my engine on "cruise" and slowed down my pace with 3-6 seconds/lap after about 22-23 laps. At lap 24 my fuel lamp started blinking so I slowed down even more (basically driving the whole lap on gear 5-6-7) and at lap 28 my car stopped. Dont understand how this can happen since what Johnny said, basically everyone drove with "fast" engine. Anyways, well done Blackwoodeoin on the win!!

Re: Round 9: Grand Prix of Europe
I think its because the fuel is not rightly coded for Valencia. Because in quali, I put my car with 4 laps of fuel in and it only lasted 2. It even started blinking before the end of my out lap. I think it is mainly the track.
