Car parking at British GP
Can anyone shed any light on how this works? 1st time going to the GP at Silverstone. Went to the WSR and parked round the back of the old pit straight, was easy enough. But I don't know whether this is allocated parking or what this time.
I have a pass for Friday to Sunday, which I display in the car window. Info with the tickets says not to use satnav, instead to refer to info pack and Silverstone Radio which will update info on parking. There's nowt in the info pack, so how do I know where to even go?

for information I know that park and ride are offered from M40 near Bicester, Brackley and Oxford to circuit, parking at track if you there very very early you should be ok.
Park and ride should be accessable and easier.
Track wise there is no bridge from grandstands to paddack, its a ball ache of a walk and padock will be closed to gerneral public.
Head over to Maggots and Beckets early on Sunday as you wont get a good spot , secruity guards I heard on Moto GP wkends where a bunch of a holes so watch out.
But have a awsome time?
You driving Thursday night or through Friday morning?

Re: Car parking at British GP
We have a numbered pass to park at the track, and allocated seating for the race at Stowe. It's unallocated for the Friday and Saturday. We wanted to have the car available and accesible, so went for the pass.
Leaving lunchtime tomorrow, then staying overnight in Lancaster before motoring down early Friday straight to the track.
