YAAAAY!!!! Last place......Twice lol
To be honest i didn't really belong in lobby A,everyone was at least a second a lap faster than i was.Still, first time in the top lobby,i'm more than happy with that.Sounded like Exiled and Koenigsegg had an epic fight for the first race win,i think Mopar had a pretty lonely race up front in the second. Not that i could see, everybody else was in a different timezone to me lol

Looks to be a slight problem with the Team standing points under the Round 5 column.
STORM should have 132
Black Sheep BMW should have 90
XFS should have 163

Did a 1.52.7xx as my fastest race lap and i was even 3 tenths up on that, one lap! Should have been in Lobby A

Yea whats up with that!!!! Also fantastic racing in lobby 1. Koenigsegg and i raced door to door for 14 laps in the first race. He messed up in the last s corner, i pulled along side in the last turn and i think i only pulled it off by half a car lol. I sent the first race reply to selectiverogue.MOPAR001 wrote:Looks to be a slight problem with the Team standing points under the Round 5 column.

Yeah indeed Xiled, great racing! I honestly never thought that I would keep you behind me for so long, you were so much quicker in the corners. The whole race I was thinking that you would pass me somewhere in the last lap. Maybe next time I should stop thinking like that.
I've done 4 races now in the TORA GT, and in every race I'm fighting with a Corvette!

I apologise for the incorrect STORM and Black Sheep points. Now rectified.
XFS team is a little more complicated. Two drivers were changed. Teams are of 3 drivers, and I'll need to know if these drivers changes are permanent, which would therefore require a new entry form. I would also need to confer with the rest of the staff to see whether all points count, or if the previous ex drivers points are discounted as they would no longer be part of the team. It probably wouldn't be a problem.
Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
So i was told if some one couldn't attend for your team you could have them subbed. Now i did that and i also told the whole party you where in sunday about the changes. I had also sent aero a message about it a week prior. What seems to be the issue?CMGraphix wrote:MOPAR001 wrote:Looks to be a slight problem with the Team standing points under the Round 5 column.

Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
Well you seem to misunderstand. Aero was off for the weekend, not that it mattered as he is not wholey in charge of the GT's. I run the GT's, and I obtain decision making with the rest of the staff.
Who told you about subbing for people in you team, as thats wrong. Teams are made up of 3 drivers, not 5 who can all score points for the team depending on who drives each weekend. Therefore the original 3 team mates score points for the team, 3 drivers.
I allowed the new drivers in on sunday because its only a game, but championship wise its unfair. If your original 2 other drivers are still in the series, they are the ones who score points for the team. If they are not, the I'll need help making the decision if the old team mates points should still count.

So you aloud my temp. drivers just for sh*ts and giggles..... why would you not inform me of this before they even raced? I believe if know one else has a problem with it why should you?CMGraphix wrote:Well you seem to misunderstand. Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
You informed me like, 2 minutes to 8pm. I allowed them because it was too late to discuss your full intentions (of which I still don't know) and I didn't see why they couldn't race to enjoy it.
I have told you what the outcomes could be, so if you'd like to tell me whether or not they are your new team mates, that would help.

Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
i told you my full intentions i repeated it 3 times, all you kept saying was "Where are your teammates?" they where just filling in for the two that couldn't show up. Which i've had one of them subbed for a couple races ago and there wasn't an issue. Now there is why because if we get the points we are owed we get second? As i look threw the rules i see no mention of subbing not being aloud.
Truely i dont care. Its messed up that this is being dealt with now instead of before the race. Its ok its a game just ill know next time that i should pay better attention the who is running the series and how points will be distributed. See you all at road atlanta

Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
Sorry, I thought the whole "enter your team with your three drivers" entry form, it would've been an extremely obviously outcome that didn't really need stating.
Yes it is messed up that its being dealt with afterwards, but I wasn't going to delay the race start just to find out whats going on with your team at the last minute.
ANYWAYS, as I said, we are still to talk about it, so no decision is 100% yet.

Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
The way I have always seen driver changes, is that if the drivers who stepped in to take your teammates place continue to race for the rest of the season then the team can keep the original drivers points plus the new drivers points. That is only if he continues. In the past we have only really let one driver take a stand in position.
Like Simon said, it is unfair on other teams who have three drivers and stick to those three drivers throughout the season, even if one or two of those drivers miss a number of races.
If a driver has to miss a race for some reason then this is something the team just has to deal with. If you find a temporary driver for that race, then fine, I don't see the harm in that. What I don't like is if it becomes a constant thing, with that seat in the team becoming a hot seat for numerous drivers and there is no consitency.
If you know that your team is not going to have a consistant driver line up but you know of others who want to race in the series then you need to permanently change the team. If you are going to have a seat where the driver changes every race, to a different person every time, then that is unfair on the others.
If this is a one off then there is nothing that can be done. As Simon said if these new drivers are taking a permanent position in the team then the previous drivers can no longer race when they feel like turning up and scoring pointsfor the team.
If you can tell us who is in your most current team then we can adjust the entry form to reflect this. This isn't an attempt to ruin people's fun or to stop people racing, but we have to chop and change drivers and work out team points on the results and, as I said, it is unfair to the other teams.

Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
Oh, and beacuse it is such a mess-around for you as well as us I see no harm in the team keeping the points acquired no matter the outcome. We will now know that we need to make it clearer in our rules with regards to Driver changes and not just car changes.
Re: TORA GT Rounds 9 & 10 - Mugello GP Sunday 7th August 2011 20:00 Hours BST
Thanks Richy, i think this was more helpfull than the last 5 posts where. Casper will be subbing the rest of the season as omega has bowed out. Bodyrollin is still racing as am i.

I'm sorry for how some of my replies came over, but its just I don't usually react well when people jump down my throat and displaying attitude. It's a shame as I had a really good race with you at Laguna Seca.

understandably we have the same issue no worrys. Lets adjust the points and move forward. You have my roster now, is that ok with you to have casper run the rest of the races?CMGraphix wrote:I'm sorry for how some of my replies came over, but its just I don't usually react well when people jump down my throat and displaying attitude. why dont you guys make a rule of half points for a subbed driver? And also maybe make a limit for the number of times a subbed driver can be used??
just a thought..
