It was my first time there and it was absolutely fantastic. I hadn't realized just how quiet the R18 was! It was also quite odd to me just how open the paddock was to the fans. I was walking around there before morning warmup and saw tons of drivers that I recognized.

Will upload more (and better) pictures a little bit later on.

yeah, you gotta have your head on a swivel down there, teams will run your ass over or shove you out of the way if you're just walking around daydreaming about all the gorgeous machinery there is.

but you're right. the open paddock is great. my buddy who was at spa a few months ago commented that it was way different than F1 where you just sit in one place and never walk around or anything.

Into Turn 1, yes.

Proper tyre scrubbing too! This really looks like a giant leap forward from FM3 in terms of car physics.

one of the Lotus's completed 237 laps and the other 197 so i'm sure there were plenty of photo taking opportunities for that car Wink

Yeah, I was lucky that he wasn't driving the first stint. I just happened to spot him talking to some other people and got a picture with him. Bourdais was nearby too, and he was really cool.
