TORA MSA Abarth Trophy Season 2 - Rules and Discussion
The Abarths return for a short four race series to kick off our 2011 TORA Stock/Spec series for the remainder of 2011.
The build of the cars is designed to create close and fun racing. The build should be as follows.
C400
Race Brakes
Sport Suspension
Roll Cage
Race Weight
Race Tyres
Race Driveline
Team Dyanmic Wheels
Full Abarth Body Kit
With stats of:
160 BHP
169 LB-FT
1,823 LBS
This should create the same fun and exciting racing we had in season one. The cars should not be different from that build.
Damage will be set to Limited.
Auto-brake, Stabilty Control and ABS are banned.
Traction Control, Normal/Simulation Steering and Race Line are allowed and the choice is yours.
This is our first attempt at online racing in Forza 4 and as it is such a short series we will be looking to have fun with it. Points will only be scored by drivers, no teams involved, and the entry to the series will be relaxed. Points will be scored as per TORA standard.
To enter, simple post in here that you wish to take part in the series. We will then endevour to keep the list of name sup to date and to send out invites to everybody who is on that list come race night.
There will be a qualifying session before the first race which will determine your starting position in Race 1. Race 2's starting order will be set in the finishing positions from Race 1. Race 3 will be a reverse of Race 2. Qualifying will be a 3 flying laps, plus a warm up and cool down lap. Clean laps will NOT take preference over dirty laps, due to the nature of the cars and the fact that we are still learning the game.
There will be three races in a night, 8 laps in length. We will be using relatively short circuits due to the nature of the cars. The calander is as follows:
Silverstone National - 18th October 2011 - 8pm
Hockenheim Short - 25th October 2011 - 8pm
Iberian Full - 1st November 2011 - 8pm
Tsukuba Full - 8th November 2011 - 8pm
Damage will be set to Cosmetic due to the nature of the racing.
I have the build on my SF for free and I also have a basic paint on my SF for free if anyone wants it. The car is in the TORA Car Club as well, incase you need it on the night and just want to join in for the night.
Good luck and lets see 16 Abaths on circuit at the same time

Yeah, sorry Tsukuba Full. You can run as a team, but they won't score points.
If anyone want the custom number font I made just let me know and I will send it to you.

Updated OP with qualifying procedure.
Clean laps will NOT take preference over dirty laps, due to the nature of the cars and the fact that we are still learning the game.
