i actually never even realised there was a stewards panel on TORA, probably should have realised that after 3 years

Oh, the video people saw was from me, hence on my youtube account. It's not a TORA video, its just me. Doesn't represent TORA as a whole, just me making my application. If anyone else wants to do the same to me, like me "lifting" on the restart thats fine, thats what stewards enquiries are all about.

Simon's right on this one. Scot did ask from my point of view as well about the incident that I caused in that race. However, that situation was different in the fact I didn't fight the decision the staff chose to make. I basically just said to him "do what you feel is right". I acknowledged the fact I made an awful error and left it at that.

Can i just ask to understand the whole discussion, who is actually on the stewards board and to what code shall we say do you stick to?

Odd question but i'm bored wishing i had my xbox and everything set up at uni (damn brother moaning so i couldn't bring it with me) and i'm just curious

TORA is very very poor at its Stewarding and that video is all againest me and yes its not the best driving but for god shake i wasnt the only 1 and how many times the 'cutting! actully put me off at the next turn. OH AND ITS TOURING CAR RACING IT AINT YOUR GOING TO TOUCH!

TORA very rarely has to make stewarding decisions these days, and we have a defined protocol for when we do. However, it's expected that when a decision goes against someone, they take the hump at it.

And while we ACCEPT touring car racing to have contact, that doesn't mean you can treat it as bumper cars. It's all about what was avoidable, and what wasn't.

Ya know what after THAT video i might pack my bags and leave. Ive been here over 3 years, shared moments like my son being born with you guys, tryed EVERY SINGLE TIME to get a postion when one opens to get into the staff. Ive put many many many ideas forward to TORA some of which have been onboard but i dont seem to get alot of credit at times.

That's your decision, but I'd point out two things.

1) WE HAVE ONLY RECIEVED THE REQUEST TO LOOK AT IT!
2) Being a nice guy doesn't give you a get out of jail car to drive like an idiot. If, of course, you are found guilty of such.

I want my bed because I am tired and working at need to be up at 5.45 for work at 7am. So I'll make this brief for now.

We have a stewarding section in the staff area. If someone submits an enquiry, generally to someone hosting that meeting, we will repost the request and associated evidence in the stewards area. Shane is head steward, and will generally collect further evidence from the parties involved. (This differed in Dans case recently as I did this as TCC co-ordinator while Shane was unavailable).

The evidence is looked at by the staff, and not just the 'red' staff, but also by the 'blue' ones too. A collective decision is then made by the staff NOT involved in that particular meeting or series.

If you need an extra marshal or steward, I'd be glad to help?

simple as that and most of the trips off the track and on the LINES didnt help me much did they i was very hacked off with simons lift at the re start.

Then the same applies to you Chaddy. If you have an issue you want looked at, raise an enquiry on it.
