Re: Tuner
I can help you Jamie. You won't need these tuning calculators by the time I've finished.
Let me know what cars you want tuning via p.m.

Re: Tuner
yea i was going to recommend the tuning calculators, they did help me along with a few sites that help you understand what effects you have from the different things you do in tuning, but if dan is going to help then cool.
but if you want to have a look then search Forzadroid on android phone, its for forza 3 but it still works on forza 4. It will give you a better tune setup than the stock tune and you will certainly feel the difference. there is a iPhone calculator for Forza 4 but nothing yet for android.

Re: Tuner
tell you what would be good dan if you post a tune thread on here showing what effects have on cars when you mess with them on the tune area ingame

Ah! I'm not exactly a great teacher. I'll think about that idea.
For now though (just as a taster of my tunes), I'll gift you a tune for the 2007 Honda Civic Type R (A545 spec) and see what your thoughts are about it.

Re: Tuner
Dan I would like to give you the cars to tune but these's are for the ROC and with you having an auto invite due to winning last year it maybe unfair you knowing the cars, specs etc

I like that idea. Like if you stiffen the rear roll bar, what effect it has to the cars handling etc...

i found a few sites regarding this,
http://diy-racetuning.net/index.html - for some reason i cant get on it any more?
it helped me loads, with regards to gears i have had a little tinkle with them, mainly the top row that adjusts all of them at once. keep in mind that when you turn a corner its easier to turn it in a lower gear, so if you lower the top row then you wont get as many gear changes. for intance you will be able to do higher speeds in lower gears, so turning that corner the old settings you will have to loose more speed to get into 2nd compared to having the new settings and being able to keep more speed but still be in 2nd on the corner. if that makes any sense lol
try this for some tips:
