Race 1 was incredible, the battle for 5th was epic with me, chucky, moo and Gary almost inseparable for most of the race
Race 2 I royally ballsed up under pressure
Race 3 saw me inherit the lead from the second corner, and all the way to lap 7 then watching richy crash in front of me allowed me to my first podium...well chuffed
Awesome racing!

I enjoyed watching you many times come round the downhill left hander after the corkscrew, sideways!

I am truly gutted I will be missing the next race, as this track is the track I hate the most and I really enjoyed the races last night here, Theres people here I can race with who are about my level and can race clean and not talk to each other, The first race I think is my overall best race I have had on TORA, lots of fun and edge of the seat action, Simon you did have the best seat in the house.
2nd race went well also after messing up at the start and having a gap infront of me I closed it down and getting pass ollie (on the last lap I think) just a great race and set me on a high for the 3rd reverse grid race.
Race 3 Started out brill getting up to 2nd and not losing the guy in first. then I could see the train coming up behind me, and you know the top gear test when they stopped a car at a train crossing, well i felt I did that when it knocked me off the track lol I know your sorry Ian just still gutted as think I could have done really well but it dont matter, then in the last couple of laps Gary was catching me and the rate he was going I thought he would pass me on the last lap but I stayed ahead of him.
One thing I do regret is not practising this car in general let alone the track, damn the back end kicks out on this like your riding a bull trying to buck you off

Had a nice run up your inside, was trying to keep a tight line, as I came half way through the corner the back end came out so I eased off the power but the tail snapped round in the other direction. I tried to save it but as I was close to you we hit side on side. Not much I can say but sorry, it wasnt intentunal and you can ask Richy how easy these cars snap round. Two laps later had a lag insident with Gary with really ended my race, I don't think binning it on the warm-up helped me either. Again sorry chunky it wrecked both our races

Re: TORA MSA Mazda MX-5 Cup Rounds 1, 2 & 3 - Mazda Lagua Seca - 15th November - 8pm GMT
Well it was my first night racing with TORA, its safe to say that the Mazda MX-5 isnt my favourite of cars, Laguna Seca is far from my favourite track, but it was certainly a cracking night. Very well organised, good competitve racing, which in my eyes is all what the Stock Spec series should be about, and a excellent way to spend a couple of hours on an evening.
I will admit, that first race was an amazing start to my TORA career, it was great to be up against drivers on such a similar level as myself, the battle between 5th - 8th was really close racing, i know i dropped from the front of the group, to the back and then managed to get back to the front of it again, only just holding Chucky off at the end. But it was all good clean racing, although i did finish the first race without a back bumper, and that weight difference may have been the difference between fifth and sixth. I was certainly left with a big smile on my face after last nights racing. Looking forward to next Tuesday already.
