does anybody have problems when they download a livery and apply it to their car and the game sitting on the loading screen? it happens every time for me and i have to reset the game to get it to play and then the livery does not apply to the car Sad

ref my livery error, if you install the 1st disc onto your hard drive after installing the 2nd disc then it all works fine

I LOVE THIS GAME!!! I have only raced a few cars but wow! I took the Enzo and the Challenger round the Top Gear track and the sounds and detail are so amazing! Autovista is great aswell! Just everything!!!

I dont know how its happened either. I was just testing my Morgan GT car around the top gear track, trying different set ups and quit out to try a different car and found i had 999,999,999cr!!!!! I honestly dont know how i done it. The only problem is it has kinda ruined my game as there is no point in doing any world tour races, and there is a possibility i could be banned as i have a money glitch so ive sent all my important cars to my mate Pawley, in case it happens.

Only I know what I did.

I was playing Forza late last night, doing a A600 World Tour race in a Ford GT. But I was tired, and was throwing the car off the track, I just couldn't concentrate. I quit the race, and almost immediately decided to quit back to dashboard. As I hit the button, I realised the game had been saving content at that very moment. I figured I'd corrupted my save game doing that, but couldn't be bothered checking, and stuck Crysis on instead for an hour.

This morning, before I headed to work, I thought I'd stick my 360 on while I was having breakfast, and check my storefront to see how my paints were selling, as I had made 300k yesterday and was almost at 3 million. But when the game got to the splash screen after the Turn 10, MGS and Dolby intros, and I pressed start to begin Forza, it came up the usual "saving game, do not turn off your console" warning, and hung there for about 4 minutes.

I knew I had ruined my save, and remembered seeing threads on FM.net about corrupted saves, where they said all you could do was delete the corrupted file and start again. I knew my saved paints would be fine, but there were a few in progress ones, and I'd lose all my cars, unsaved tunes and my 3 million credits. I wasn't too bothered though, because I wasn't that far into the game, and my paints were still selling well.

So I returned to the Dashboard again, went to the memory and found my Forza 4 save, but when I checked the save game file it seemed to be okay, it didn't say it was a corrupted file. Before I deleted it, I figured I'd give it another shot, and loaded the game again. This time after the splash screen it took a few seconds saving content and went into the game. I checked my cars and they were present, then went to the storefront and that and my messages seemed fine.

So I downloaded the 250k I'd made overnight from the storefront, and looked at my money to see if it had got me over the 3 million mark, only to see 999,999,999. It made me panic too because people are being banned for glitching, but that appears to be solely based on the auction house glitching. As I have only bought a few cheap cars on the AH, I can't see how they could ban me for an obvious bug.

I'm not sure what to do myself with the money. I could keep it, but it makes the storefront less satisfying. I'll still play through World Tour and stuff for the enjoyment and achievements, but as Silentalarm says, it does take some of the purpose and challenge out it. I could also use the money for TORA prize money, and for supporting testing out championship regulations. But it has taken away from the whole building up a garage and upgrading cars element (although to be fair with the money I was making off the storefront it wouldn't have made a big difference).

I did, however, buy myself a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento - WOW! Cool

Silent I would contact Turn 10 you dont want to get a ban for somthing you didnt do heard that the credit issue caused trun 10 to ban ppl by mistake

Really, Turn 10 can't ban you for that. They can only ban through trawling the auction house and identifying glitchers.

Unless you stick a car up for silly money, there's nothing they can do, they can't ban you for a bug in their game.

Just been reading the FM.net threads, and it seems it may be due to bugs in the AH and storefront. A lot of people collecting storefront money and daily bonus have had this happen to them, so it may be due to that, and not my corrupted save idea, as I had collected both daily bonus and SF money right before I noticed the billion credits I had.

Not spend the credits!?!? If a bug gets you 999,999,999cr I'd be getting every car in the game and selling them for double!
