Re: TORA MSA GT24 Round 3 - Indianapolis GP - 27/11/11 - 8pm GMT
I am off the pace of the leaders by around 0.5 - 1 second so I am not looking good for this race, fastest lap is a 1.26.9 SLS is too phat doesn't handle very well hates all they corners that you have to feather the throttle.
GTR I have done a few laps in the Lambo and managed a 1.27.054 and I am more consistent in it than my SLS. What times are you running? Can gift you my tune if you want?

OUT now, sorry guys, was looking forward to debut the Maserati but there is no way I'm going to be moved back in by qualifying. See you all next week!

I will gift it over when I get back on no problem, I think I am losing the rest of my time to Dan & co because I don't know the track that well, have only raced it 3 or 4 times so i'm sure after 24 laps I should be better.

Thanks simon.. Would love more tunes to try out. Think its all becoming academic tonight as I've a 5 and 3 year full of cold which usually means running up and down the stairs to them both..Simon wrote:I have atune your could try too GTR. jump online and I'll send it oevr

** IMPORTANT INFO **
The rules and regs have been updated, with the inclusion of the track limits for GT. They are as follows:
Track Limits
The track limits are determined by the solid white lines either side of the track. At all times, two wheels must remain on this part of the circuit, unless of an occurrence where it is near to impossible to keep two wheels on the track, like avoiding a collision. During a race meeting, each time the track limits are not adhered to, a warning will be given. Each driver are allowed five warnings of all four wheels leaving the track via the inside of a corner, at any part of the circuit. If a sixth and subsequent "corner cutting" occurrences happen within a race meeting, then that driver will lose a position for each corner cut. Again, if a corner is cut to avoid a collision, this would not be given a warning.
The track limits must be adhered to in the event of gaining an advantage whilst having an on-track battle. If a driver overtakes a driver by getting all four wheels off the track, the driver must give that position back before they may continue the race. If the driver which was overtaken backs off heavily either through incident or "mechanical" failure, then the position will not need to be given back.

Change of plans guy.. Car (lambo)/driver completely uncompetitive - 3 seconds off the pace of the worst times being posted..
Feels like very little point in turning out presently..
Snap. It seems im finding out the hard way in this and iscc that you cant even be competitive if you cant tune.

After a stewards inspection of the circuit, turn one is an exception to the "white line" rule. The inside track limits is defined by the grass

AAA racing gents! Despite the fact that I went for a super late lunge on Ian on the last lap. And accidently passing before the finish line. Gah, need to stop driving like Hamilton... 'part from that, good race all!

Re: TORA MSA GT24 Round 3 - Indianapolis GP - 27/11/11 - 8pm GMT
I can't believe I lost the lead after the pitstops. I just outbraked myself for turn 1 on lap 18 I think whilst trying to defend off EZT Trooper.
But hey, what a race it turned out to be. A fantastic three way scrap between myself, Trooper and Carrera. Nose to tail for the whole event. At the end, we was all covered by less than 1 second.
Many congratulations Trooper on your victory. I apologise for the tap on the rear on the last lap. Just to re-assure you that if you'd spun the car, I would have stopped to allow you the position back.
I'm just extremely thrilled that all the hard work on the Aston Martin Virage has improved the car immensely. Roll on Suzuka! I can't wait.

As per the rules, there seems to be one, maybe a couple of people who have not adhered to the rules. Enquiries are under investigation.

If this is regarding turn 1 at Indy, then I think the rule should not apply there, it's impossible to see where the apex is, as Forza doesn't have a kerb that should be there.

Simon did mention that Turn 1 was the exception.
i know i made one or two errors on my part trying to keep a draft with Louis after accruing front aero damage, so if i have an SI against me, i'll accept any penalty enforced.
