Re: Kartsim
Wow, a game to do something, for which for the same money you could actually go Karting!
Sorry if I'm not too excited on the idea. It looks amazingly good, handling and graphics wise, but think I've missed the point?

Re: Kartsim
This official Kartsim World Championship thing sounds very good, I wouldn't mind winning a real Kart...

Well, for around the same price you could get half an hour at the arrive and drive? This thing is a proper sim which will have official online competitions with prizes that would go towards a proper career in karting. That's exciting isn't it!
Plus, imagine having 30+ TORA guys swapping positions online, it would be mega fun!

Re: Kartsim
What nicky said but also they are positioning themselves as a viable way for karters to practice without the extra costs.
It'll be ALOT cheaper than a seasons worth of karting BELIEVE me!!!!
Looks like there's real circuits from all over the world which is great, particularly as they're all real.
I'd hope the UK would at least have Buckmore, PF International, Clay Pigeon and maybe Rye House. Llandow would be nice but I think it's probably too small for such a game to have in.

Re: Kartsim
I know from a friend who used to do some Kart racing, he would be spending thousands of pounds a year just to do some Scottish Championship rounds, and eventually had to give it up due to cost.

Re: Kartsim
The BUKC national series I did when as Uni was the same. Obviously subsidised somewhat but it was still quite expensive just in terms of travel costs and equipment.
