I hope everyone's had a great day. For the first time in six years, me and my family have had a brilliant christmas.

Brothers are in bed, the folks are snoring on the sofa, mates can't be arsed to go out... I finally have some time alone to try out AC Revelations properly..

Not at all Matt! I've been reading some of Carl Sagan's work recently.

I saw the book in Waterstones the other weekend and oohed over it, Steph took it as a sign and picked it up for me.
The show on BBC 2 last week, 'A Night with the Stars' was fantastic an utterly blew my mind.

I got my mum his Wonders of the Solar system book, which looked fantastic.

Xmas has been out the window for me this year.

For those who don't already know, I got a baby girl called Evie for my Xmas - well, an early Xmas present as she arrived on the 23rd. So the focus this year has been on her.

Nevertheless, I got the obligatory boxer shorts, pyjamas, a cracking Top Gear-esque t-shirt that says Top Dad (see what they did there!?), Jimmy Carr's new dvd, the Top Gear Annual, and my wee darling Evie got me a canvas of Alonso's 2011 Ferrari (although I think her F1-daft mum had a hand in that seeing as Evie was a day old!).

Also got Gears of War 3 and NFS The Run, but between sterilising bottles, changing nappies and getting covered in sick, I've hardly played my 360.

I think your Xmas probably trumps everyone else mate. Many congrats
