One great thing about Tsukuba, and the fact that the cars are pretty well balanced between each other - you get a lot of cars in one shot! Looks busy as hell on track!!!

Pics from the one and only B lobby race. Just as a note, I know its touring cars and there is a lot of bumping and bashing which everyone got away with, but I saw some very dubious moves to pass people. Just be careful guys.

Yeah, I had a couple of people pull off very dubious moves on me just to get past in the 2nd race, not too happy about about such poor driving.

What moves? I didn't really see what was happening in the lobby to be honest.

I pride myself in being a clean racer, but some of my passes at Tsukuba did involve some contact. Notably at the hairpins. Each time I made contact with someone it was due in part to the driver I was passing for squeezing me down onto the grass on the inside (not intentionally).

Some contact will happen with the touring cars on tight tracks, it's inevitable.

And I know for a fact that lfcnick is one of the cleanest racers on TORA.

I did hear some complaints regarding Ian though, which made me chuckle a bit

I'm sure lfcnick didn't do it on purpose, but I did kinda get pushed onto the grass on the exit of the corner, he might not of entirely known that I was still on his outside, so I'll give him some benefit of the doubt on that one.

tubbi on the other hand didn't really yield after knocking my car sideways in the hairpin that leads onto the backstraight.

Tsukuba is a small and tight little track and in the TCC there is always a bit of argy bargy on the track. I never saw any completely race ruining moves or take outs in my lobby, but I did see a few people being quite forceful at passing people in some of the corners and not making an effort to give back the place. It's understandable as we were running in such a right group, but it's just something to be aware of. Hopefully at Motegi we'll get a better picture of people's abilities and driving styles.

Uh huh....I just watched both replays back and I everyone was running in to the back of me??

Have you seen the reply nicky before you accusing other people? I don't think anything was worth an SI but in race 2 there was some interesting driving behind/into me.

Thats what happens when you put lots of cars on a tight track, crashes are going to happen. I thought everone did very well to keep the crashing to a minimum and I highly doubt any of the crashing was intentional. Its just the way Tsukuba is, its a go kart track, not a race track for 12 full size cars all within a few seconds of each other.

To be fair, the only real take-out seemed to be on the second corner of the first lap where Hainesy was run into the back of which nearly created a huge pile-up.

Jesus Ian, why do you take this so personally?! I actually have no idea of what went on in A lobby, I'm just trying to make a little joke by alluding to your reputation from last season because someone made a small comment about you while describing the race to me.
