VM Classics Series 1 Empty VM Classics Series 1

VM Classics Series 1 Banner
Something entirely new this way comes as Virtual Motorsports pays tribute to the cars of yesteryear and gives them a platform in which to transcend the years and instead come together for the ultimate battle of old versus new, power versus handling and revolution versus evolution. Each week poses fresh challenges with fresh winners in a unique series that combines all drive trains, permits tuning and has limited damage to add yet another dimension to the series.

Racing on Saturdays at 14:00 CST / 20:00 GMT / 06:00 AEST, the series will travel the globe starting in England at the Silverstone Racing Circuit before moving across the channel to France for the Circuit de la Sarthe. Travelling east, Japan is the next destination at the twisty Tsukuba Circuit with the Bernese Alps next on the schedule. Twin Ring Motegi is the next venue before trips to the Hockenheimring, Nurburgring and Road Atlanta conclude the series. Each week is vastly different to the next ensuring all the cars strengths and weaknesses are able to shine through.

For this series, there will be 3 championships available to the drivers of which they will all contest 2. The Drivers Championship is the ultimate contest with all drivers doing battle against each other, but in addition, based on whether the series will be contested as a lone effort of that of a team, the Privateers and Teams Championships await.

Working alongside Turn 10, the series is officially sponsored and will feature in-game credits and gift cars to be won by the drivers. Those skilled, or lucky enough to finish in the top 10 of the Driver Championship will earn themselves a share of the credits available, with the podium finishers of the Championship also gaining a unicorn car of their choice. Not only that, the Privateer Champion will receive credits and a unicorn, with the Team Champions receiving credits. In addition, for all drivers that complete the series with 100% attendance (attending 7 out of 8 races), a random draw will take place to determine who receives another unicorn car.

Series 1 of this brand new event will begin on the 18th February and run through consecutive weeks until the series finale on the 7th April. 8 weeks of racing against a wide variety of cars will leave the final result a complete guessing game.

Yes, that's a bit unfortunate. Found that out when you guys released the series. We were already working on this series when FM4 was launched. Testing, listing builds, taking pictures of 107 cars takes some time.

Both series has their own unique aspects. So good luck with your series!
