Rally or time attack series
Just posting to see if there would be any interest in either a rally or a time attack series to be ran on Forza, not too sure on rules/car list but it'd be something like all AWD no adjustable aero and maybe high A class/ low A class assists are optional apart from ABS and TCS which will be locked off. Looking to run this on a Thursday night at 9-10p.m anyone interested??

Re: Rally or time attack series
You could do it on a weekly basis, and hold sessions every night at different times to suit people, then at the end of the week, all the times are collated.
I'd quite like that.

Re: Rally or time attack series
Funny you should mention that Nick because I've build a few cars for a Group A Rally championship including the Ford Escort Cosworth, Toyota Celica GT-Four etc.
Would be really interested if such a championship ever comes into life.

Re: Rally or time attack series
Yeah that'd be good, love to hold a round or two at Kaido, using the all the stages and the full track forward and reverse over 2 different weeks, can do the same with the Nordschlife with the stages and full track

Something like that was ran a few years ago on Forza 3 as a classic rally championship with a modern ran before it, it was pretty good and i'd love to do some Group A rallying it'd be great!

What I'll do Nick is gift you all of the Group A cars I've built and try them out. When I tested them, they was all very even around a stage of Fujimi Kaido.

Re: Rally or time attack series
Duncan and I have been working on an official Time Attack series for a few weeks now and were looking to announce it in the coming week.
The emphasis will be on teams of drivers who will be given a week to build, tune and test a car within the regs we give. There will be power, weight and PI limits, but most other things will be open choice. At the end of the week we will have a 30 min session of pure driving from however many team members want to take part, and the fastest team member time dictates thier teams' finishing position. So you may have 4 guys building and tuning a car all week, but only one person turns up on the night to put in their time. On the other hand a team of 5 people could turn up but their fastest driver will claim the position.
Stay tuned for more news soon!
PS We were going to be using Thursdays or Fridays for the Time Attack session.
