Rounds 1, 2 and 3: 9th December 2008 - Maple Valley Short - SIGN-UPS CLOSED!

Welcome one and all to the first round of the British Touring Car Championship of Season 2.

This round will be held at the short version of Maple Valley.

To ensure that you can be invited to your lobby, please add: 'The BritGT' to your friends list.

So, please post an 'IN' if you wish to participate. This sign-up thread is scheduled to close 24 hours before the race. After this time you must speak to either iGr Short Shift, or ckBrenneke. Please note that after 24 hours before the race, you may be rejected to race.

If you are the manager of a team with more than 3 drivers partipating in the race, can you please ensure that you nominate 2 people who you wish to score points for your team for the whole event. This MUST be done before the sign-up thread closes 24 hours before the event. If you fail to nominate 2 drivers, then the lowest 2 scores will be taken for the teams points after the round.

Qualifying Lobbies

Please note that each lobby will be assigned a Lobby Captain and a Vice-Lobby Captain. You may find that for the race lobbies, your captains have changed. If you have any issues with qualifying, then please let your Lobby Captain know. However, if you have an issue in the race, you must speak to your race Lobby Captain. After you have done qualification, please give the Captains time to contact the Head Race Steward where final lobbies in order of time set will be made. This can take upto 15 minutes. Once lobbies have been made, you will be notified of your lobby. Please note that this may come in the form of an invite from yourLobby Captain.

Qualifying is scheduled to start at 8.00pm GMT. It is important you try and come on 5-10 minutes before this time, so that we know of any connection issues in good time, and the race will not be delayed as a consequence.

If a team only has 2 drivers signed up for the race, I will automatically put them as point scoring cars at the time of the thread closing 24 hours before race start

Assuming no other decision arises on the part of my team mates I think we can assme that due togaryp's console problems Team Halfords point scorers for Round 1 will be ck and myself
