GT Pro vs GT Am Debate
Not that I'm considering making it part of the championship, but I have wasted some of time wisely, and began to create this here table to create a leaderboard of the GT series since Forza 4, so GT24 and the current GT series.
The rules were there must be 4 results to use at least, or taken part in the most recent races with the possibility of racing in more. Each race score was devised by the finish position of that race, divided by the amount of people racing that race. Then, all the scores are then added, and then divided by the amount of results taken, getting a "mean" score. It's not exact, 100% accurate or rocket science but I thought it would be a bit of fun, and the more results that I can add to it the more accurate the table could be.
In terms of a Pro / Am debate, there are 50 drivers so far in the table. It can either be the person in 26th being the start of the midway point, or it can be the first person who scored after 0.5. The way the scores are, the least someone could be is something like 0.03 and then most 1.00, so 0.5 is the midway points for scores. I reckon it should be the first option, meaning silentalarm42 would be the best "Am" driver, but its all up for arguement.
I'll thank people in advance for the comments of this useless info I have provided.

0.50 huh
I am mostly scared by the fact that both of your suggestions include me as a "Pro" driver.Simon wrote:...

Bullets score is high;y inaccurate due to his qually at Hockenheim, and short number of races. We all know hes better than you.

Re: GT Pro vs GT Am Debate
Just a thought, but, what if you only used everyone's last 4 or 5 races to calculate thier total point score.

Re: GT Pro vs GT Am Debate
I can safely say this is never going to happen unless like I said before you are Gentleman driver
Re: GT Pro vs GT Am Debate
I think what will be good on here is to have a formula that takes into consideration points, average quali position and moved places.
Pfft I don't know, but we want to merit points the most, then moved places (whether it's negative or not) and finally average quali position (for the first race).
What they do in Autosport is the relative pace of each driver... that could be done. Good luck Simon heh
