Outstanding racing in B lobby, Dav, your car was scary before you lagged out, I waswatching you bounce all over the track!
Saw a couple of cars rolling too, but in the main the racing was close and clean.
Sorry to Gundam in Race 1, I think a few of my move were verging on the 'hard' side of defensive!

Well, once again, wheel issues holding me back.

I missed Motegi, my internet cut out before Sonoma, my track disappeared at Sedona, and tonight wheel issues which have disabled my clutch caused me to qualify poorly, with the final knock out blow coming from someone needing to urgently use my printer, which meant I had to re-organise the plug sockets under the table..

Possibly my unluckiest season ever, and I'm down in 41st in the standings! I want my Golf from last year back Sad

As for my wheel, which is now on it's last legs.. It's holding me back massively, to the point where I'm just left vulnerable on the straights. I can't remap the clutch anywhere else.

Might have to do a bit of DIY work to the thing to extend it's life a little, but it's going to die soon and I'll have to buy a new wheel later in the year.

Ouch Haburi... I hate when that happens in random public lobbies, I couldn't imagine having that happen in a league race. Well I could imagine that some poor soul would face my wrath at some point in the day. Twisted Evil

Great fun last night. Had some fun with Wumba, driving side-by-side practically half of the races Razz I saw some people roll in my mirrors; very entertaining Wink

At the start of the first race someone lagged into my rear and did some damage. Managed to hold my position all the way through though.

Not sure about the track choice. I'm all for the short tight tracks like Tsukuba, makes for very tight racing, but Maple Short is, let's face it, not a race track. There's no thought put into it like other tracks, so there's no decent line. Also, my biggest fear was either smashing into the pit wall or flipping over the curbs. I'm not a fan of this track, to be fair.

Anyway, looking forward to the next one Very Happy

Sorry some of you guys don't like my track selection, I tried going for as many short tracks as possible and with the game being quite restrictive I could only work with what was there. I picked Maple Valley Short as it has, in the past, seen some fantastic racing and I thought with these cars being so close it would see some of that racing come back.

We have also used Maple Valley Long Reverse numerous times in the TCC but I felt it was too long for the cars. Nurburgring Short is actually a pretty long track, as is Silverstone International, so maybe it would have been a better choice than the short circuit.

What other tracks haven't been favourable?

Sunset has always been a good tcc track I thought

I really enjoyed Maple Valley Short TORA have ran the TCC there in the past and it's been great! Wasn't the biggest fan of Sedona and thought that a track like Laguna Seca would have been a better choice apart from that i think you've came up with a good calander.

Its all down to personal choice, you can't please everyone. I personally hate Nordschleife, Infinion, Sedona and Maple Short (like the long though) in that order but you have to take the rough with the smooth as I know plenty of people who rate them tracks among the best.

Saying that I don't think you need to limit the tracks to the short ones because you then miss great tracks like Indianapolis and Road America, and Sebring would have been a good addition as well.

When it comes to MV Short, I actually prefer MV Short Reverse, as I have enjoyed some great races there in online lobbies. Three wide racing coming off the hairpin all the way back to turn one.

I also prefer the shorter tracks to the long ones, so I am in agreement with Richy's track selection. I wish I was here for Sedona, as Sedona Club has become a favourite of mine, yet I despise Sedona Full with intense passion.

I would have mixed in Indy GP, Laguna Seca and Road America for variety's sake, and as long as its not the IRL variant, Infineon is a good track too, and think that these cars would do well on the NASCAR version.

Mugello full would have been wicked, basically any track that doesn't favour a power car, its the cornering that makes a race.

Last nights racing was excellent, magic with his rapid skip, rolla with the apex hogging rsx (il get you my pretty), crashes and pile ups on the pit straight, haburi lagging out (mate, that sucks) people rolling it, nudging with out killing each other, me n magic side by side for seemed like an eternity. .........If you'd have watched a touring car race like that on the telly you'd have fallen of the couch.

I must say the level of driving was massively improved compared to other races, respect and hard racing with a well run event, thanks to all the guys behind the scenes including mark for running a faultless lobby.

Hi my points from last night haven't been added to my driver standings total i think i should have 166 in total.

also, after taking my first lobby win of the season last night Very Happy (after a tense final lap with cpt nemo) i would have to say that maple valley was a great track, even though i rolled on the second lap of the first race, very close racing throughout the field. wasn't a big fan of sedonda but the rest of the calendar is spot on if you have bigger tracks indy, sunset, etc they favor the power cars too heavily imo.

Agreed, that race had everything happening in it, I watched the replay back after and it was stressful just watching it! I'm not a fan of the track, but I think it produced a great race and it's good to have a variety of tracks on the calendar - short, long, grip, power, that's the whole point of a championship really. I never realised it before, but Maple Short is actually quite similar to Brands Hatch Indy but with the corners in a different order, and almost the same length (1.12 vs 1.2 miles).
