If anyone remembers how much fun demolition derby was in GRID, then I'd expect that kind of experience on this.

I still remember Destruction Derby 1&2 - happy days!!

Such happy memories, especially when showering tyres over the track, or parking in the landing zone of the jump..

I see this as a rebooting of the DIRT franchise into this kind of thing, and I speculate that any future rally game will not bear the name DIRT, perhaps a reboot of Colin McRae Rally?

Dirt Showdown is just a side game of the Dirt series. They have already made it very clear that Dirt 4 will be solely focused on the Rally and Rallycross aspect. I appreciate that hey are splitting up the series a bit.

I played the demo the morning it came out and if felt just like Dirt 3, however I had to switch my wheel off after 2 seconds as it nearly destroyed it. In no way is the Fanatec Elite supported.

Codemasters could really be doing a lot better than this, I cannot see any reason for this game to have been made, not even as a marketing decision, unless people are THAT bored with rallying.

It took me about 10 minutes trying to explain to the people at my school last year what "rally" is.
