We were discussing this in the staff thread earlier and basically it's a "no" but I'll follow that with our reasoning.

1/ We would find it difficult to manage any/many more than we already have now, and even though some people may be upset. I think the majority would prefer we took a firm stance, and provided a solid experience for everyone involved, rather than a shakey one!

2/ After 3 rounds of inactivity, unused team/privateer car allocations will be "thrown back into the pool" and the inactive teams/privateers removed from the entry list. These cars will be open to new entries. Existing entries, unless Simon says otherwise and a "transfer period" agreed, would still incur a 10% points penalty for changing car.

3/ There are still a number of open seats on teams, so if people want to join the series, there is still opportunity in that way. This not only encourages the forming of new relationships, but also benefits the teams, as it gives them more "scoring power" for the teams championship.

4/ My head would explode.

5/ If my head did not explode, the extra work involved would cause my wife to leave me and I'd starve to death (she does all the cooking!).

Hi, How do I get involved in this series? I have raced quite a few online organised events as I have been a member of other forums, My pace has improved, but I doubt i will be racing for race wins just yet!

I've noticed there are teams in this series and also read about privateers, so I'm wondering if this is where I start?

Hi Ryan, welcome to TORA!

I'm afraid it's pretty slim pickings as to what cars are left available to privateers at the moment (please see the car list on Page 1 of this thread), however there are a number of seats available and potentially open to you within teams (see the available seats list at the top of this page).

Your best bet at the moment is, as you've done here, "advertise your services" and see if you get a nibble, or if you're feeling even more pro-active, take a look at the entry list, see who has a spot available and contact a member of the team directly.

I will try to have a look at the list at the top of the page and figure it out, not massively concerned about car choice as I love them all and am pretty confident I can tune it to suit tracks (although I do have my favourites).

I have all DLC packs so I am available for all cars!, I also would be very committed as I would pretty much practice every night too,

Have taken your advice, pm'd the team I noticed seem to have a space and drive a car I like, hopefully they will provide an answer for me soon

Am i right in assuming there are 4 spots per team??


also to any other team, I am more than happy to do setup your team's car to the series specs and do a tryout with you if you are looking for a driver and want to test me out before saying yes!

Luckily I've found a team,although not my first choice in car, the guys seem cool so I have happily accepted the drive. Just got to get the car sorted out and turn up for some practice with the team tonight now
