Likly my only off has been crashes in to spinning porkas haha

I was worried but not too much as only testing :p in the race I would have braked.

Nice driving, sad thing is, your first time with stationary start is quicker than my fastest flyer :/ then again I was stuffing around, no tune and had AI damage.
A few questions: do u use a wheel, TCS or manual with clutch?

For the P1 over endurance length stints I use TCS, Manual, No clutch. CSR Wheel.

Cool, I was looking at getting the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 wheel because my mate has it and it's really good for me plus it's only 150 bucks so I can afford it, compared to 300+ for the CSR. I need to improve my times n consistency do much! I was running 4:06, 4;07 consistent and clean but I hired F1 2012 n since then I had to 're learn it'
I run no TCS, manual w clutch because your 'supposed' to go faster, might give it a test without them soon

no clutch on a P1 car doesn't effect lap times, but, for a GT car it will slow down your times, keep it on.

Does the CSR wheel let you use the flappy paddles without using the clutch, even if the game is on Man w/ Clutch?

I'm not sure about the CSR, but the CSR E has an option built into the firmware which lets you use the clutch. Basically when you pull a shift it presses A as well.

That's pretty neat Seems like most game/wheel makers don't know that flappy paddle cars don't have a clutch pedal... ie F1 cars.

I don't have the wheel, but i did hear that the firmware that was released recently for the CSR enabled this feature.

The CSR Elite yes. The CSR no unless you flash the FirmWare with the BETA version which has what they call auto clutch. I'm not using the BETA FW

With just a day before the green flag is set to drop, the Vodafone British Gamers team and their GT Spec BMW M3 have gained access to the Le Mans circuit for a private test session. There have been reports that the circuit manager, Frédéric Lénart, is rather fond of tea and crumpets, and in exchange for a years supply of the good stuff, the team have gained exclusive testing access for day.


Here are some spy shots of the car pounding around the circuit in the morning, shortly after the track had reached an ideal temperature.


There is talk around the paddock that the team are also running a vary stiff setup on the car, as several times it could be seen cocking a wheel up into the air, as seen here:


Upon returning to the pit lane, it also seems that another front splitter has been damaged on the car, probably at Tetre Rouge, which can't leave the team with many spares for the race itself. In qualifying Scott Haines actually managed to roll his car while navigating the twinkie-filled Tetre Rouge which required extensive repair work. Tom Hinds has also hopped across the twinkies more than once in the build up to the race, each time smashing the leading edge of the splitter into them resulting in heavy damage to what is essential in equating to front end downforce.

Have to say I do like the Vodafone livery, saw it the other night on qualifying and it looked the business. Got to watch that aero damage though
