The paint wasn't designed by us and isn't something we should be handing out unlocked. We were asked not to do this anyway, I think the best way to do it is to put it on the SF for 0cr so that it remains locked.

I will do stint 9&12 although not ideal(early rise) I want to take part. Would love to do stint 9 if forza had day/night transition. can't beat that time of the morning for driving. Do I need to register for this event? will I be gifted this car? can i do my own setup? will I have to set a qualifying lap? Do I need to carry my number on this car?

Not an official reply to your questions Toffo, just my best guess:

- This is a "special" car, so, i think your first post asking for stints 9 & 10 will work for your registration;

- Looking at previous posts in this thread, you will have to pick up the livery on the storefront for 0cr (just so the livery stays locked);

- CMGraphix "may" have a tune he can send you, but, you can do your own setup;

- I did see another person sign up to qualify in this car so you do not need to set a qualifying lap. You can still set one if you want to;

- This car appears tol be running #56 with grey number boxes for the entire race;

- Chances of losing connection during the race are always very likely. This would be the real world equivalent of having a 25 cent part breaking on the car (or having a wheel come off because the wheel nut did not get put on properly). The car will be awarded the distance covered before lagging out and the car will have made it to the pits and should be running again by the start of the next stint. As a side note to this, if you lag out into a lobby all by yourself, you may be able to take a photo of your distance completed to satisfy the race stewards.

thanks for the info bruno i'm more clued up now. thanks. I understand losing connection happens. yet how often has it happened during previous endurance races? just for my information.

I only said as I was reminded of when CMGraphix lagged out of the ISCC Bernese Alps race, but, upon further review it looks like he still got a DNF.

So, forget I mentioned it.
