Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
If anyone has created a team logo that they would like me to use on their spotter guide pic, please PM me a pic (if you've created one in-game, please put it on a flat surface, like the side of a Ford Transit, and take a photo as square-on as you can). Otherwise I'm happy to create something on your behalf.
Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
Will get the paintjobs sent over tomorrow (along with the GT9 ones), with a logo as well. Just doing minor touch ups. Loving your work btw.

Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
Hehe thanks. Have you had a look on the website today? I've been working on a few sneakily whilst actually "at work".
Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
Spotters Guide fully will be available once the practice session starts up.
Chris, got one more for you. Skype?

Nope, definitely English i'm afraid, i'm from England, not Great Britain.
I have completely naff all to do with Scotland, Wales or Ireland!http://www.antimoon.com/forum/t4189.htm wrote:Why people and even officials are confusing the terms nationality with citizenship?
An example here:
British nationality (is incorrect)
American nationality (incorrect as well)
Etc…
British citizenship (correct)
USA citizenship (correct)
Why incorrect?
Nationality is about NATION (from Latin NATIONIS = race, people, breed )
“British” is not a nation, Only English, Scottish, Welsh , Irish are nations – British is irrelevant – you could be anything, English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh or a foreigner.
'Britain' refers to the island on which the mainlands of England, Scotland and Wales are located. The 'British Isles' are the islands of Britain and Ireland, and all of the smaller satellite islands which surround it. The modern 'United Kingdom' is the sovereign nation made up of the constituent countries of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
While I am Scottish, and very proud of it, and pro-Independence, I do still recognise that I am British in the sense that I have a British passport, and that I am from Scotland, which occupies the northern half of the island of Great Britain. I also have to recognise that my home country, Scotland, is not in it's own right sovereign (yet ) and is therefore part of the UK.
So what am I? I'm Scottish, and therefore I'm British, regardless of the fact I live in Scotland, regardless of the fact I live in the UK. Anyone who lives in Great Britain is British.
Unfortunately the perceptions of 'Britishness' is often confused worldwide with 'Englishness', and 'British' often conveys thoughts of Westminster, red buses, Underground roundels, jolly old banter and the Royal family. Things which are English are often described as British. Things which are Scottish, or Welsh, are rarely described as British.
No wonder many people feel disillusioned by the term 'British'. And I do too, in the widely recognised sense of 'British'.

Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
I, personally, have never really understood patriotism to the extent where different countries see themselves as rivals just because they were born on different sides of a border created by the aristocracy of old. Take our community "British Gamers", it was set up, not because we didn't want other countries in our group but because at that time broadband was in its infancy and not very good speed wise and lag was a problem especially with countries as far away as America. Essentially it was created to offer lag free gaming.

Exactly. Everyone should be allowed to be proud of where they are from, but at the same time, we're all on this same small lump of rock orbiting a not-too-interesting star in some obscure corner of one in billions of other galaxies.
That's right, I'm taking this discussion to a new level.

Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
Spotter Guide updated. If you've completed your design and not yet gifted it to myself (WWR Aero) and/or CMGraphix, please do so ASAP. If you need to add me to your friends list to gift the design, please send me a request.

Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
is this mandatory? Our painter doesn't want us gifting out our paints if its not necessary. If not you could always use a side shot of a black ARX-02a and use that
Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
You could put the paint on the Storefront for a set price, and then WWR Aero can get it from there. Once he has it you guys can then remove it from the SF.

erm...

This request is so that we can get spotters guides going again for the race, and also to be featured in special features during the Le Mans weekend!!
Under no circumstance will your paints be used for anything other than these functions.

Re: Le Mans Spotters Guide
I would advise that CMGraphix and WWR Aero will be at work throughout the day and it would be better for them to pick it up this evening (UK time)
