Pheonemenal Racers' 207 Cup - Series 3
Back in 2008, months before I joined TORA, in a small wee forum in some corner of the internet, we ran two seasons of 207 Super 2000 racing.
These cars are idiot proof, and the 4WD keeps the pack together. It's restrictor plate racing for road courses. It's awesome. We ran races on full Grand Prix tracks. 5 laps sprint race and 7 or 8 laps for the feature, complete with a reverse grid, rolling start and pit stop. The whole night was done in less than an hour. It was fast paced racing!
So go buy a Peugeot 207 Super 2000, put race tyres and race brakes on. And we can do some of this!

Yes, I am somewhat a fan of AWD cars, they tend to get neglected in race series

Seeing as they were a success(?) at the 24 Laps of Le Mans GT Race, would you consider switching to maximum width Drag Tyres?

I'm in. Not fond of Peugeots or AWD or Hatchbacks, but as long as it lives up to close racing, I'm in.
Re: Pheonemenal Racers' 207 Cup - Series 3
This is nothing to do with the cars, it's just about the racecraft

I know that, and that's why I am willing to run yet another spec series in silly looking little French hatchbacks with you guys.

Small French hatchbacks have always been cool...
...in Europe. French hatchbacks aren't even in existence on this side of the planet.
Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes are cool, hatches, notsomuch

Re: Pheonemenal Racers' 207 Cup - Series 3
I had a blast in the first meet at Seca, and with my finishes, I do believe that Nicky was indeed correct in his "these cars are idiot proof" assessment
Now comes my Q... when is the next round? Two weeks from today, after MSA Week I hope?
