i have only uses macs when they are in store, and i keep going to the top right to close them, when its the top left lol. The desktop looks a lot cleaner that vista tho, if only macs ran games properly...

why is it being set up with net points? they dont take affect till that last 2 races of the season?

yea but your 2 rounds dont fall off untill the last 2 races of the years, i can see you logic but, its doesnt give a full picture of the season so far, i just think it would look alot beter if it was done on total points until the last 2 races

um but then it would say you are leading, but you would not win the championship ...so it is representative...

Yeah it was run last season where up until the final two rounds you had all the points that you had won. Then when down to the last two races you had your worst two taken away from you so it gave you a better picture of what you had to do for the remainer of the season. I think some people got a shock when they realized thy weren't where they assumed they would be, and I think we were all surprised when we realized last seasons winner had so many points lol.

Its better the way AJ is doing it to show the final points since we are dropping two rounds.

But should we really be dropping two rounds anyway? why not just make it an oout and out race all season long? you could look at it as being unfair to someone who has raced all season to have his 2 worst rounds taken away and be beaten by someone who scored better, but just decided to miss 2 roudns or couldn't make them.

THIS IS A GAME. I thinks it very fair to allow peeps to still compete even if they have REAL LIfE commitments!

In real motorsport, drivers have real life commitments that sometimes mean they can't compete. If they miss a round, too bad.

IMO, I think the whole dropping two rounds thing is a nonsense idea, which is why I refused it in the BTCC regs. I understand the logic in it, but it's still not infalible for the very reasons Richy states.

I know that the 2 round drop is cos of the 2 DLC tracks so some people will miss those races if they havent got them. But everyone really should now tbh

If someone finishes 3rd all season and misses no races then someone who finished 2nd in all races but didn't attend 2 rounds then the guy who was 2nd all the time would beat the other guy who has been there all the time.

I mean I miss a lot of races, and tbh I don't really care I just really enjoy racing with you guys when I can. But I dropped two roudns and I'm higher up than I should be with people who are racing all the time. Its quite unfair a system tbh, but I know why its in place.

Round 1 Silver 20
Round 2 ---
Round 3 Laguna 61
Round 4 Motegi 46
Round 5 Suzuk 51

so the total is 178

its 2 dropped rounds not round 2 dropped take away your points from round 1 178-20=158 the amount of points you have

you shouldnt take into account the dropped rounds untill after the second last race doing the dropped points now is just stupid
