MSA TORA Porsche Supercup - 03/07/12 - 8:30pm BST

As part of the MSA National Motorsport Week TORA will be running various races and events to celebrate everything motorsport.



On Tuesday the 3rd of July we will be running a Porsche Supercup built upon the suggestion of the community. There will be two races during the night, both at 25 minutes each. The race will take place around the German track of Nurburgring GP. The races will be split into two classes, Pro and Am.

The Pro class will have all assists apart from the view locked off, so there will be no ABS, not TCS, no auto-gears and no Driving Line. The Am class will allow all assists (except auto-brake and steering assist) but will run with a 10% power handicap. Damage will be set to Limited.



The car will obviously be the Porsche GT3 Cup car that was recently released in the Porsche Expansion Pack. The car will be completely stock, however tuning will be allowed. Cars may be painted up in any livery following the TORA guidelines, and a Numberbox (which will be used in all MSA National Motorsport Week races) will be issued before the event.

Qualifying will take place before the first race and it will be a one lap shoot-out to add to the excitement.

Am Class for me.

I would love to run the AM class if my schedule allows me to.

Depending on interest and timings, especially for the guys in the US, we could run this an hour later at 9pm BST if that help.

Limited, I'll add it to the settings.

This morning I took delivery of my new Pro Porsche and took it out for a 4 lap shake down in Pro trim but no time to have any tuning on it so far.

A vid of my very first 4 laps in the 2011 Pro Porka, no assists, no tuning shake down ;O)

You know, if you put in AI drivers you can make some money at the same time, Just put the max PI at 733 to avoid them having faster cars.

Also, looks like I can see how much difference the 10% power makes, my best time last night was a 2:00.9 with tuning so far.

I will run in AM class if I get my donated code from Hainesy for the pack before hand
