Re: TORA GT S9 - Results and Standings
It could be very easy, when the first race has been driven no change what so ever.
Then you can't get this kind of discussion about points and 10% and all that kind of sh!t.

Re: TORA GT S9 - Results and Standings
I second that. Should be added to the TORA GT S10 rule book.CRA Adder wrote:It could be very easy, when the first race has been driven no change what so ever.
One more thing to consider for the update of TORA GT S9 standings. The rules say:
Apparently a 5% points penalty is applied at the moment. Should be corrected or did the rules change in the meantime?Any change of car, unless stated by the series owner, will result in all drivers effected taking a 10% championship points penalty.

Re: TORA GT S9 - Results and Standings
I agree that you shouldn't be able to change car after picking one, you have enough time to test after all, the only problem i could see, is that when a driver doesn't turn up for three races, the car is thrown back into the pot, then they could choose another car, effectively changing cars. I dunno though!
As for the percentage, i still believe it's 10% yes, not 5%.

Re: TORA GT S9 - Results and Standings
There's another place that has this rule for multi-car choice for a series in that whatever you use in your first race of that series, you are stuck with for that series untill the end.

Next year no car change, if you don't show up for 3 races and your car is thrown back in the pot you need to start a new team and pick a car again. You will then start with ZERO point with your new team.

I think this is THE answer for the 10% changing teams etc.etc.....
But what are the organisers thinking about this proposition?

Re: TORA GT S9 - Results and Standings
We're kinda busy with other things right now. Sorry, but we can either deal with this, or we can make sure tomorrow's event is properly organised. You choose.
PS - You don't really have a choice.

Anyone?
Yes. If the points (per round) are coloured yellow, the total has the deduction. (Try adding up the individual rounds and you'll see the total is lower - as Graftersroom will attest to!!!!)
I am sorry but I think there are some mistakes in the standings and to prevend any problems in the end maybe they should be look at. If I am wrong then please explain it to me, as i am trying to understand this.
Cloud you check for example BG Race Division and United Autosports as they changed the cars but are not showing yellow and if they do they dont have the 10% deduction. Round 1 for example for United Autosports 232 + 182 = 414 point. That should be 372.6 so say 373. But Result list shows them still at 414.
Also do car changes also affect the drivers? Or only team standings.
We are all racing with the same rules here and imo they shoud be followed correctly.
Also take a look at the privateers they are not showing in the correct order.
Again sorry for the trouble.

Re: TORA GT S9 - Results and Standings
Hi guys. Sorry for not getting back sooner. This was on my radar but work and other stuff has been so crazy this week I've not yet gotten around to fixing the problem.
I will be adding in a column that shows the amount of penalty per driver/team, with a "before and after penalty" points total, so everyone can see how their points were affected. I don't know why I didn't think of doing it that way in the first place. It would have saved me a lot of work!!!
