Cleanliness must be in the eye of the beholder Dave, as for me that first lap was the worst display of basher cars that I have seen outside of the Public Race lobbies
Re: TORA TCC Meeting 11 -- Rounds 21 & 22 - Nurburgring Short - 24th July 2012
lobby size may have been a tad too big looking forward
Affects of having 16 people in B lobby caused the rear mirror glitch, as well as a difference in qualifying time between 1st and 16th on the grid being just under 6 seconds
maybe 12 racers per lobby should be the limit? just a suggestion

Re: TORA TCC Meeting 11 -- Rounds 21 & 22 - Nurburgring Short - 24th July 2012
Whilst I admit my time was s***, I'd like to think I'm a clean racer and stay clear of people overtaking so as to not ruin races...
Re: TORA TCC Meeting 11 -- Rounds 21 & 22 - Nurburgring Short - 24th July 2012
I would like to say well done to S2M Coblet and S2M Jono on there race wins and every else who made A lobby, there was some great close racing and some horrid lag but it didn't seem to take the fun away from the racing

I think I was lucky. I managed to keep out of trouble and drive around the first corner incidents.Flyin Mikey J wrote:DangerDave49 wrote:Thanks guys. That was one of the cleanest races I have been in.

I should have passed Chucky on the right hander at the top of the hill but did not have enough of an overlap so backed out of the pass. This must have made him mad as he then picked up the pace and left me.

I know the difference between 14th and 16th was 4 of those seconds, and mattmeir, who qualified 16th pulled off at the start to let everyone pass, as he usually does, to avoid bottlenecking the field in T1.
Most of what I witnessed on the first lap of Race 2 was just some idiots in fast cars being very impatient. I never quite hit anything, nor got spun in all the bashing, but by the time I got to check damage on the backstraight, every corner of my car had 100% body damage.
To me, under TORA guidelines, that is simply not one bit acceptable.

Just noticed that for this round British Gamers Racing Team has not been allocated it's points yet?

Re: TORA TCC Meeting 11 -- Rounds 21 & 22 - Nurburgring Short - 24th July 2012
First, congrats to S2M Coblet, and S2M Jono for their wins in our lobby today. Outstanding showing gentlemen.
Also, congrats ton team CQR Ikea, as I believe they have clinched the team championship in the TCC. Great racing guys!!
4 teams are battling for the last 2 podium spots. CQR Randoms, NTR, Team British Gamers, and Phenomenal Racers are still in the hunt by my math (which is not guaranteed accurate).
The drivers championship has 3 people that still have a chance to win, but it looks like a two horse race between CQR Magic and CQR VtecTorquE, with CQR Haburi having almost clinched the third place spot. Plow Tubbi is still alive for a potential podium finish if things fell perfectly.
This is my first ever race series, and I must say it has been a great experience all the way around. I have met some great people, and have had some great races. I have looked forward to every other Tuesday for close to 6 months now.
One more race to go... Can't wait to see what happens... And will be counting the days until touring cars start again.

Had a great battle in race 2 for 2nd place. Feel I was never going to be in lobby A but im sure Nick would have put the car there.

Thanks gents - much appreciated!!
It was a real up and down night for me personally, I was over the moon with my 5th place grid position but devasted when I suffered a lag crash with, I think, CQR Smokey on the 1st lap of Race 1. My screen froze for a second and when it unfroze I had Smokey embeded in the rear corner of my car - this spat me off in to the kitty litter and gave me 60% front aero, 100% aero everywhere else and loads of drivetrain/suspension damage. I had to pit and spent the next 15 laps hot-lapping in a dog of a car
@Smokey - I hope you didn't get too much damage mate
The 2nd race was a much more straightforward affair - after battling with Racing DK for the 1st lap I managed to pull a lead and spent the next 15 laps hot-lapping in a lovely car, culminating in a 35.300 on the last lap
From what I heard though the rest of the field had a ball, I especially enjoyed MAGiC's commentary on how he was struggling to find a way through the pack
I'll echo Vapor's sentiment - I really can't wait for the next season to start, especially as I'm missing the final round.......damn you family holidays in the sun

Good spot. The points were allocated to the wrong BG team.
Re: TORA TCC Meeting 11 -- Rounds 21 & 22 - Nurburgring Short - 24th July 2012
Jono mate ask S2M Kenny to drive your honda for the last round as a sub driver, I'm sure he won't let your team down ( that's if the tight arse has the DLC )
I too can wait for the next season of the touring cars and hope the line-up is much the same as this season because the cars are so close on lap times.
Before the last round I would like to thank everybody for a GREAT season of awsome racing and mega giggles
