Resolution 720 versus 1080
Currently using an old WalMart (WallyWorld) brand 42" LCD tv for racing. Its leaps and bounds above an old CRT type tv but wonder if 1080 LED (available in house) has a better resolution for racing. Would it be worth swapping out?

Don't put so much concentration on the resolution, so much as the quality of the picture, contrast ratios etc.
1080p is always good, but i'd take a better quality 720p TV over a lower spec 1080p one.
Personally i've always gone with LG TV's, and my 42" LED Backlit TV kicks ass, i've also have a 25" one which is also LED backlight (provides greater clarity blacks) and that picture is also very good.

The only real difference between LCD and LED is that whites are whiter and blacks are blacker on LED's.

Depends really, if I have to go outside and its raining I'd go for the MAC everytime. But if I fancied a healthy snack it would have to be the APPLE.

Re: Resolution 720 versus 1080
I am so spoiled by the 52" TV I usually use that now I hate racing on the 30" set in the living room. With the smaller screen, I lose my depth perception and miss crucial braking points and stuff.
