MSA TORA Porsche Supercup
Between August 28th and September 18th the TORA Porsche Supercup will take place. This series will see the first instance of us implementing a PRO and AM split in the category.
The PRO and AM split will be decided by a qualification night on Tuesday the 28th. Everyone will take part in the PRO class car and will compete throughout three timed races around three different tracks. Then the split will be made as evenly as possible. Everyone will get 10 minutes to set their fastest lap around each track, and collisions will be off throughout.
Then for four straight weeks, running September 4th through to September 25th, the racing of the Porsche Supercup will take place. The PRO class will use same PRO cars from the Qualification night, and the AM cars will us ethe older spec GT3 Cup car. Please find the builds of each car below.

Re: Porsche Supercup Rules and Regulations
is there anyway to start off in AM right off the bat even if i do the qualifying, i would feel alot more comfortable starting out in the lower class seeing as im an amateur and know my driving skills aren't those of many of the top guys on here.
Thanks.
Thanks.

No, but if what you're saying is correct, then you will get some close racing with people of similar skill level as there are a wide range on racers here on TORA...

Re: Porsche Supercup Rules and Regulations
You wanna make things interesting? For qualifying do not allow tuning. This will show where the drivers belong, PRO or AM. I know where I'll be but it would be nice to take tuning out of the equation......... thats all I'm saying.

Then you can't have the wide tyres and uprated brakes and driveline though...

No they're not. You can either "Force stock upgrades and tuning, On/Off".

Re: Porsche Supercup Rules and Regulations
Can't it be done where the 750 PI is allowed but changing tire pressure, downforce, gearing, etc. is not allowed?

Re: Porsche Supercup Rules and Regulations

Re: Porsche Supercup Rules and Regulations
I vote for allowing tuning... 760 pi and the Same cup car for all...
Re: Porsche Supercup Rules and Regulations
Her's two more ideas from the old phart:
1. Swap the PI's... give the 724 car to the PRO guys
2. Everyone drives the same car, PRO gets a 5 sec delay from AM.
PRO guys will still catch us, then have to work traffic.

Not sure what you posted is even in English, but I think I agree with it.
Re: Porsche Supercup Rules and Regulations
OK rules are not changing
Teams can be in AM and PRO but as I said before there is not a teams championship.
CAR PI WILL REMAIN WHAT THEY ARE NOW

It was just a discussion, didn't expect anything to change. "Gee whiz", I'm sorry if I upset anyone.......SelectiveRogue wrote:OK rules are not changing
