The Mighty Minis - XPLR - Season 1

We are just about to start a new series over on XPLR, and have scheduled it to try and avoid conflict with TORA events.

We ran a rest session last night and the racing should be very very close, so take a look at the poster below, and sign up if you are interested.

this starts tonight and we already have 30+ drivers registered, still time to get involved

A Lobby Race 1
Early on American pole setter Deuce shows the Union Jack boys of Deano and Edd Rok the fast way around Silverstone!

Just a few laps in S2M Dellorto dives up the inside of Edd Rok to take 3rd!

After leading 3/4's of the race Deuce makes two fatal errors in consecutive corners and allows Deano and Dellorto to slip by!

Deano and Dellorto enter the tunnel turn side by side as Deuce and Edd Rok hope to pick up the pieces if things end badly!

But Deano would not crack under the pressure and holds on to take the checkered flag!


A Lobby Race 2

The competition was fierce right from the get go in this one as Fletch33 and AndyT make contact exiting turn one!

MGR Daytona under pressure for third entering the hairpin!

Dubs and PRT Audiman find out the hard way that 2 wide into the esses is how you say.........no beuno!

MGR Daytona gives up two positions falling from third to fith as Glimmer and RougeWilson take over the third and fourth spots!

I'm guessing Fanatec won't be recieving any Christmas cards from Fletch33 as he gets a disconnect while leading the race!

After a round of pitstops Glimmer comes out the leader but outbrakes himself into the hairpin allowing Dellorto to take over the top spot!

On the very next lap Dellorto makes a mistake of his own handing the lead right back to Glimmer!

Photo finish anyone? Dellorto battles back to just clip Glimmer at the line!

If that first round was any indication Deano this is gonna be one hell of a series!

I know mate, I have NEVER seen 2 races in a row with finishes that close.
What a great turn out too.

Round 3 Sedona Club A Lobby Race 1

Edd Rok was on pole for round 3 and leads the field off the line!

Edd immediately builds a gap on lap 1 as the rest of the field tries to keep up!

Veteran Racing Dk had his hands full with newcomer djlandrover as they battle for 2nd place in to turn 1!

Same lap, same turn Ibanez Deano takes advantage of Glimmer UK's mistake as "Mr. My Fanatec Wheel Will Disconnect at Some Point Gregbie" looks to take advantage to! (Sorry Greg! )

Racing DK kept Edd Rok honest.........................

But Edd Rok would not be phased by the pressure as he takes the Race 1 win comfortably!

Round 3 Sedona Club A Lobby Race 2

PrT Audiman gets the holeshot tries to build a gap early on!

Glimmer UK gets by Fl3tch 33 for 2nd with djlandrover in hot pursuit!

Glimmer UK's time in 2nd was shortlived as he makes a mistake in the unforgiving chicane allowing djlandrover and Deuce VR to get by as the rest of the field closes in.

Deuce VR takes over 2nd as djlandrover outbrakes himself in to turn 1!

Race 1 winner Edd Rok wonders what might have been had he not been spun in the opening laps. He clawed his way up to an impressive 4th place finish!

Knowing that he had made up some time on the leader in the pits Deuce VR gets a little too aggresive on cold tires and allows djlandrover back in to 2nd!

PrT Audiman did make it interesting as he makes a big mistake in the chicane nearly allowing djlandrover to catch him!

I'd love to do this Mini series, I just don't have the time for it

They're a cracking bunch of guys Richy - I used to be a member of Senior Admin on the site so I speak from experience

If you ever find time, even just for one round, I'd highly recommend you pop over and take part - you woulnd't be disappointed.

i think i'll have to have a go, on holidays at the end of this week, so it will be do able
