Hi fellow motorsport fans..

I'm Matt (Guinness Matt on XBL).

I've been a keen player of many racing games for more years than I'd care to admit, I remember spending hours trying to get IndyCar Racing working on my old PC back in the day... then when the first Gran Turismo came out I was blown away by the detail.. I didn't bother getting a PS3, opting for the 360 instead, Forza 2 was my first look at the forza franchise and I've played Forza3 and Forza4 since. I find the F1 games to be a bit too much, but Forza is just right.

I've done some online racing, but only with my close friends, so have no idea if any of my group of racing buddies are anywhere near the standard we need to be to take part - so I'm basically looking to gather intel on the game setups and car restrictions etc so we can bring the same game format into our semi-regular forza nights. Once we feel happier (and more confident) that we will be competitive, we will see where that takes us.

My Internet connection is all over the place at the moment, nearby roadworks and a new supermarket being built are likely culprits (they knocked out power a few weeks back).

Although the numbers look good now, I was on with a friend an hour ago and my car was bouncing around like a power ball... The only fair thing to do was turn off collision and go for fastest laps. (I won ). The noise on the router page jumps from nice and low to billions each time I refresh, it changes. Tried different routers, different sockets, different filters, different cables... Thinking different ISP may be an idea, but hard to give up an email address I've had for nearly two decades!

I'm liking the sound of clubman class racing. I hope there is some coming up soon! Who do I see about those fancy number decals? I feel some painting is due......

Numberboxes? We all have them, all you have to do is ask any TORA memeber on your Friends list and they will gladly forward you the set for whatever series/event you wish to compete in... we tend to be pleasant and helpful peeps.
