I had that with the Clio Cup I ran earlier in the year. It allowed tuning but due to the parts used it was limited. I also put up a tune on my storefront for those who wanted to 'arrive 'n drive'. Mmm... yes.... Especially on a weekly, somewhat casual series, this would be ideal. Get a bombski tune that folks can use, then open source said tune so if folks like the series and want to stick around, and get a bit more in to it, they can tweak for specific tracks if they so choose.

You do know what they say about real-life, so called "spec" or "silhouette" series'.... Something about "he who cheats best wins..." Trans-am was a bit notorious from my recollection... Shallow oil pans, "Magical" control tyres, Parts of the frame/bodywork made of cardboard/paper... etc but I take your point.
I do have to say that the thing that originally drew my attn to this series is the banning of some of the aids. While its not exactly how I would do it, I'm interested. It will be nice to be in a somewhat serious series where I am starting behind the 8-ball by not using any aids. However, I can't commit to being there every time, cause if I use the excuse of "Taking a half day" cuz "I got a race tonight" any more, I'll be down to part time. I own my own business so this will be a major problem

Now onto the topic of dates. How does everyone feel if this starts 3rd of October , 2 weeks from today, and runs every Wednesday at 9pm bst/4pm est and finishes on 14th of November?

Id be interested in this.Will have to see night and dates wise but should be good to go.No TCS might be a pain for me but will give it a try later tonight to see

That day and time works for me. My only issue is I would miss every other week because of my schedule. But, that might not stop me from taking my console with me so I can do it.

In but does depend on which night we race. Saturdays will be open soon once the TASCAR is over?

Was thinking Wednesday but could wait until Tascar has finished and take that slot on Saturdays. It really is up to the community when they want it. I can make any day.

I vote for Wednesdays, as I often lose the XBox to the kids on the weekends.

BTW, had a blast in the car yesterday with Silentalarm. I was hesitant about the whole "no TCS" thing, but his tune took car of needing the TCS assist. Great fun,. cars are quick, if I get excited I can get lots of drift points, yet when I concentrate on limiting wheelspin, it is very stable. We ran the last half lap of Silverstone side by side, even through the last couple turns. Very impressed, and looking forward to racing these things.

Wednesday would suit me better too if im honest.
