Jr TCC - Road Atlanta Club - Lap Times

Yesterday after the race on Tsukuba I did some testing on Road Atlanta Club
and my fastest laptime was 01.08.852 , 01.07.245 , 01.06.012

I got a 1.06.something

1:10.612 for me.. into the 1:08's with a rare 1:07.8 Still more tweaking (and practice) required, I think..

1.06.3xx will get into the 1.05s

as soon as I get home and change the builds up I will certainly post

Sweet Jesus! I thought I was doing okay when I ran a 1:10. friggin' something. I under stand a second and half difference but come on. I wasn't drinking or smoking the funny smokes and I'm still slow. I guess its time for me to retire like Schu...............

na Dewey practice makes perfect , when i first started tuning on this track i was hitting 1.06s and i knew i had reached my limits with the tune , i then looked at similar times on the leaderboard and changed my racing line to suit and boom it was done a 1.05 from changing my racing line .

you can do this to.

as far as I know we need sport tyres correct?

yes you do, and Dewey you probably need to change your build from Tsukuba if you haven't done so already

I'm hitting 1:06.2 so far.

IRT Trash was nice enough to send me a tune for the Agila, and even though i'll never be as quick as the "up front" guys the lap times fell. In the Agila the best I've run so far is a 1:08.3, well over 2 seconds quicker than the pug. Maybe with more practice I might get in the 1:07's.

Glad to see that Trash stepped in to help you Dewey, as I dropped the ball. A bit busy with work this week, and a bit distracted with the S.I. Sorry, as I feel I let you down.

No worrie Mike, when you teamed up with Outlaw and Tubbi for this series I wasn't expecting you to tune the pug for me. Then you and Tubbi had that FUBAR.... I'll try the pug a little more and if I can't get it in the 1:08's I'll swap to the Agila. When you are in 24th spot it doesn't much matter swapping cars.

Its in your inbox dewey 1.06.2 again it will get in the 5s , do look at your braking points on this track it will save you mass time

I'd like to thank both IRT Trash and Mopar 4T4 for their help in trying to get the old guy more competitive. Even though I'm typically slower than the rest of the field I still enjoy the racing. As long as we continue to reverse the grid for the second race, I know I normally will will have a front row starting position. Its fun lurking a mile behind the lead pack waiting for the "Oops, sorry mate". Then its time to pounce on the wounded car!!!
