I can try but I doubt the geometry will work as well. It's a precise science I'll have a go though, when I have time.

Don't get your hopes up on day/night for FM5. If it comes out on this console you won't see it unless they cut the frame rate in half.

I'd put money on it being a "next box" launch title.

Agreed, I'd be amazed if there's another Forza Motorsport game for the 360, but I could see it being a 'launch window' title for the next Xbox (i.e. first 6 months like Forza 2 was on the 360).

If the next box is 2014 instead of 2013 you may see it on this console. I do think it will be on the new console though. The jobs have vanished so either they've been filled or the extra help isn't needed yet. They still need a Lead Vehicle Artist and a Software Engineer. The list was much larger than that a few months ago.

If they launch FM5 on this console they'll probably be shooting themselves in the foot as it'll just be another fm3.

I hope your right Worm and it is next-gen - I can't see how Turn 10 can extract any more juice out of the current box! Weather, night racing, 1080p and 60fps on a new console and I'll be very happy

I can't see Forza 5, or Project C.A.R.S coming out on the current Xbox. My money is on the next Xbox emerging in around a years time...

If their hands are tied because of a console delay then who knows. You have to keep the money flowing in to develop future titles. FM4 sold half what FM3 did and 1.3 million less than FM2. I don't know the expectations of Horizon but it has only sold about 600k

Lets hope the lead artist understands that unpaintable areas/window banners/rear wings etc are bloody unforgiveable.

Horizon was a massive flop and the DLC thing is just pure out and out greed. Their YT vids show asswell.

T10 be it their fault or not, have done an AWESOME job of pissing off their community following.

They seem ti take away the good stuff and give us half arsed stuff every time!

I hope they give us Tyre compounds and lobby tuning back for fm5 and some new tracks!

Chris those errors on cars are the same exact models from FM2 ported over title by title. Not fixing errors from previous titles and carrying them over is part of the problem.

Lobby tuning created the game freezing and corrupt profiles in FM2. That's why it is gone.

Tracks won't ever happen, people don't purchase them and the cost didn't justify it when over 5 million people purchased FM3. They aren't going to add it in when the potential customers for it got cut in half.

I really hope you're wrong Worm - if your outlook is true then I have a horrible feeling that Forza, as a credible racing sim, will die a slow painful death.

There are too many promising alternatives around the corner for any developer to stand still - especially Turn 10. They have been lazy with the franchise for too long already, another half-arsed release will more than likely be the final nail in the coffin.

Partly Rusty, CARS has wet weather and night racing, but it will be max 720p and 30fps on 360 (same as Shift 2 was), 360 just doesn't have the memory or CPU power to do all that.

@Beanz, CARS is confirmed for 360... but that doesn't mean to say it couldn't be released on a next-xbox too

Agreed - but they have yet to confirm exact features for each platform. So far people are presuming that the features confirmed for PC release will all make it to the console versions.

I'd gladly take that though over a higher resolution and FPS...

If FM5 will be the first proper racing game for the new Xbox with weather, night racing and all those other stuff. Then I can see lots of people buying FM5.
