May be hard to gather interest with the VLN & Nurb 8 hours coming up.

Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
it was really hard balancing them, and all so i decided to stick with the gt cars on game that are in the race, plus a few moreWCM Outlaw wrote:I'm interested, too bad you couldn't use more of the PGT cars. Or even the Rolex GT class??
where are the rolex GT cars? or do u have builds i can use?
Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
found someone who has really good grand am gt specs, and if he allows me, we will be using them
Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
if anything, you can pull up the build rules from the Rolex Series and just mimic the cars to their actually specs. I did this before and the cars seemed to be very close

Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
I tried that bit it only gave weight which half the cars could reach, HP same story, Rome size etc but it was too difficult to balance, HOPEFULLY I get the specs from the guy I askedWCM Outlaw wrote:i would assume so or just google rolex GT specs
Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
hmm, what i did is i took the most recent GT enrty list, created a rough HP window and weight window. what helps equalize cars alot is the HP to lb ratio. have a set number for that and you got a great starting point.
But first thing is get all the cars started with a basic race upgrade. if you want i can work on the car list with you?

Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
Sounds good, I had one, I'll look in the morning and see if I saved it, and we could work from there, because I tried (rushed effort) a power to weight spec, but even then the Audi n Porsche were at least 0.5-1 seconds quicker than the camaro n mustang
But if it's done right it should work

Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full

Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
The Mosler looks most like the Corvette Daytona Prototypes, and has a most similar drivetrain and engine.
My take would be the production Nissan R390 and the Mosler, upgraded to somewhere in R3, with the GTs in mid A Class. It may lose the Vette and Audi, but the Corvette's days are numbered in Rolex GT anyway.

Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
I had mosler n ultima but they were way to quick so I started gt1, very nice! I was gonna use the Porsche but its 2-5 seconds a lap quicker. There's also infinity, m6 (won't use) and something elseFlyin Mikey J wrote:The Mosler looks most like the Corvette Daytona Prototypes, and has a most similar drivetrain and engine.

Re: Daytona 2.4 hours at Sunset full
You can have teams, but it won't be like VLN where you change every so often, you run the 2.4 hours on your own, but you can have multiple team mates in the same car, but individual drivers, make sense?
