He just did an out lap slightly slower than my normal runs.

For reference, that's a 8:38 standing by Takumi.

Also hearing that he hit a 8:26.8xx in a practice lobby this afternoon

my qually time^^. following lap, i knicked the corner of the pitlane wall, no damage, and managed a 37.1xx. the lap after that i was up by a second going into the carousel, and she spit me out nearly sideways at the exit, which lost me time. next time split showed +3.8xx, but cut that down by nearly a second by the start/finish line, so im guessing my Xanavi Nissan 370z is capable of 35's. what shocked me was how the car got grippier the longer i ran, which i am happy to find out.
