like i said on Facebook, I'm glad he isn't, he's (IMO) too good to be a second driver to the boy,VAMR Wilson wrote:Raikkonen no longer in the running for Red Bull seat so looks like Ricciardo and Da Costa will move up.
hope that Ricciardo does though, he deserves it
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I'd like to see Raikkonen and Vettel in equal machinery. Mark was a good driver, but was never championship winning material.

Official Red Bull Youtube channel? Looks like he is pretty much confirmed now. Good on him, hope he does well.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Era?
It's the Vettel era. That's like naming eras after Eddie Irvine or Rubens Barrichello's stints at Ferrari during the SCHUMACHER era! And as for Felipe Massa, it's more of a saga than anything. He's been there forever.
Still though, I guess we'll see just how good Red Bull are next year, but I have a funny feeling he'll play a similar role to Heikki Kovaleinen at McLaren (God, remember that?!)
But in general, I feel F1 is getting to that tipping point again, where the ''old'' new guys are becoming the seasoned veterans, and the ''new'' new guys are starting to claw their way up the seats. The grid is getting younger, and this season is the first time that all drivers made their F1 debuts in the 21st century! It only seems like yesterday that Jenson Button blew up his Williams during practice for the 2000 Australian Grand Prix by accidentally hitting neutral!
Anyway, I'm glad Kimi didn't go to Red Bull, but it's hard to place him anywhere else. Ferrari? Can't see it. Mercedes? Nope.

Excuse my brutal cynicism, I really ought to be more positive, but the past has thrown up driver pairings like this before.

I like that track. It was great for NASCAR Nationwide, on par with Montreal.

Monza marshals may strike due to unpaid subsidies by the ACI from last years event.
Considering the costs of attending any kind of racin these days, I really don't blame them!

ridiculous.
f1 makes money hand over fist, they cant spare a few euros in order to take care of the first line to ensure driver safety?

Heard that on MWM. Ruddy ridiculous so it is.
As for Vettel's comment on Ricciardo, what a cock.

I think Vettel's comment was a playful bit of fun. Honestly, at every opportunity, people just love to nit pick about him

Really cool out of the box thinking from FOM, I absolutely loved the thermal shots.
Seemed to curse Di Resta over the weekend though, but at least he got the most out of the unique views!
What's next? Turning off the lights at Singapore and using night vision?
