Not wrong there!
Not sure if I showed this among everyone, but something a little interesting...
The cars not in the video were "average" in all areas

Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
regarding that, may I have a suggestion?
I've mentioned it before somewhere else on the forums but I assume that there will be a warm up lap, otherwise there would be no point in the pole driver counting down.
To have a 100% legit way of monitoring IF someone jumped the start, have everyone start at a certain point on the race timer.
For example if the warm up lap is completed and everyone is in the grid boxes and good to go and the race timer is at 2:13, then the race marshal (or pole driver) would set the race start to 2:30. upon 2:30 everyone goes. Nobody is going to remember when the pole driver said "go" afterwards, and looking at the replay would indicate a really odd point on the race timer and it wouldn't be conclusive.
It works absolutly wonderful in Formula Forza and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
You say shorter races do you means back to the 20mins per race to fin in TTV? Or down further from that to 15mins?
Because in 25mins per race its hard enough to pass and work up grids anyways you just run out of laps lol.

Oh no, no more BMW M3 GT2.
I know this is due to it not racing next year, but still sad about it. Don't won't be in the ALMS anymore either.

Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
Racing for less than 20 minutes per race hardly seems worth the effort tuning, practicing and qualifying to be honest...

Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
Current S9 races are sub 20 mins as it is, kinda underwhelming when 25 min races were supposedly guaranteed.

Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
I've not been at recent meetings due to life stuffs, but it is supposed to be 25 minutes. Is this not happening then?
20 minutes is the aim, and yes its so I can do TORA TV without it taking 2 days per race. Shorter races, hence no reverse grid

Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
Not sure about Laguna cos I didn't do that round, but round before at Catalunya was the 'correct' length, about 22 minutes racing, plus 2 minutes formation lap if I remember correctly.
Anything around 20 minutes is fine for the Sprint races I think and easier for you to do TORA TV too which is bonus

Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
You know your racing is getting serious when the organisers are looking to work to a TV schedule.
Remember guys, you're all racing in a series backed by the MSA, so you ARE essentially real racing drivers here. If that doesn't make you want to get out on track I don't know what does!!

The cars put me off. Can't get the hang of them and just become a back marker

back marker or up front its about taking part right
Re: TORA MSA GT Sprint Series - General Discussion
There's bound to be someone who is around the same pace. I couldn't care less about what position I'm in. If I was I'd pick the best car & tune & practice 20 hours a week.
