TROC Update (Team TROC) CANCELED

I always try to do these's on the Sunday just after the race but with everything all different for this weekend I thought I would change things also, plus I have a busy weekend ahead of myself not being in the race.

First off thank you for all the support about TROC so far I am very happy with the event and think it will be a great success.

Now last year there was lots of talks about getting a nations cup, but looking at this now I think it is still too soon, we are getting there with more nations joining TORA but we are still not at the level. BUT what we can do is a Team TROC.

The best teams from TORA will put two of there drivers in there line up to head out and be the best team at TORA and take the first TROC Team crown.

Do you want to take part? if so read on, a team can only enter with drivers it has had in the team this year (2012 just incase you dont know the year) in any Main TORA series (the ones with the results on the websites) GTS8, GTS9, ISCC Euro, ISCC USA, TCC, NATCC, Tascar and TEC. Each driver can only race in one team, so all those's that have raced in different teams can only be in one. It is open to all teams but the maximum of 12 teams can take part if I get under 12 teams then it will be 8 teams. This is an open invite event with first come first served basis.

It will have the same cars and at the same track as the main TROC and will take place on Saturday 5th January 2013 with the main TROC happening on the Sunday.

Entries will open this coming Sunday (9th December 2012) and close Tuesday 1st January 2013.

One question, when you say team does that mean an individual team entry (i.e. CQR Bulldogs, CQR Ikea) or the entire 'club/team' (CQR, BG, F4H)? I know different people use the terms interchangeably - e.g. for us, CQR overall is a 'club' and then we have multiple 'teams' competing in each series.

I'm looking forward to this, i think us BG need some new recruits to combat this CQR/F4H takeover, i feel like we're being bumrushed with banjo's playing in the background!

Last night I orginally wrote "teams will consist of only 1 team from a clan, EG BG can only run one team" and only 8 teams taking part but then if someone has changed clan its more harder to fellow. So I decided that this year more then one can run but the drivers must have been part of that team and bumped the limit up to 12. When you sign up I will ask you to say when the team was run and in what series. Next year I may go to only one in a clan I will just see how this year runs.
