MooGin Racing arrives at TORA

MooGin Racing was formed in January 2012 by MGR Ginge and MGR Wheelwash, on our home site www.vtcc.co.uk we were two rather rubbish racers, both having only started online racing in October 2011, in the case of MGR Wheelwash, never actually owning a games console until September 2011. We were both struggling, slow and Scottish, but thankfully both having extremely good looks and plenty of charm!! We decided to form as a team, to help each other out, learn how to tune (still work in progress), learn how to race (still a work in progress) and learn how to paint (the main reason why the other two are still a work in progress!!).

We were mainly aiming toward the older gentleman, which with a tag line of 'We Really Should Know Better At Our Age' speaks volumes. We have grown and developed on out home site, we are fortunate enough to be allowed to run our own evenings on that site thanks Mr VTCC himself CQR Rusty, who has also been a huge part of why we are, what we are today!! We do have a wide range of drivers and ages now. The main team matters revolve around our home site obviously, which always has and hopefully will be the main focus of the team. But we do like our trips on the road and here at TORA, we hope to run a full endurance campaign in 2013 and beyond.

MooGin Racing will never be a leaderboard team, im not even sure i have spelt leaderboard correctly there!! All we are is a group of middle aged men going through a mid life crisis and pretending to be race car drivers, which we quite clearly arent!! What we do aim for though, is racing with a smile on the face (yes even that grumpy git MGR Wheelwash once smiled back in 1987), in a clean and friendly way, in nicely painted cars and making the whole online experience, that bit more entertaining, weather it be with a few pictures, a bit of friendly banter, or simply just letting The Media Man go into his own rather strange world!!
