CQR's TORA GT S10 Teams & Drivers
Close Quarters Racing returns to the TORA GT Championship, currently with a line-up of 12 drivers across 3 teams.
Here's our launch video for the new season:
CQR Bulldogs
- #2 - CQR MAGIC (red highlights)
- #123 - CQR PHIL (blue highlights)
- #505 - CQR Jono (pink highlights)
- #963 - CQR Cobblepop (yellow highlights)
The reigning teams champions from Season 9 return with a new car, the Lamborghini Gallardo. Returning drivers CQR MAGiC (2nd in S9), CQR PHIL and CQR Jono are joined by CQR Cobblepop to form a strong line-up that aim to win the Sprint Series.
SMS Racing
- #140 - CQR CHRiS
- #292 - CQR Dogskii
The Project CAR's inspired SMS Racing team will be racing the McLaren MP4/12C, with CQR CHRiS and CQR Dogskii set to be joined by additional drivers before the start of the season. The McLaren has gone well in pre-season testing and will be a regular top runner.
CyberRacing AMR
- #3 - CQR D4N13L
- #80 - CQR Aero
- #255 - CQR Shifty
- #77 - IRT Gillard
The virtual works Aston Martin Cyber Racing team has 3 CQR drivers, including CQR D4N13L (who finished 3rd in S9), CQR Shifty (who won the final race of S9) and experienced TORA veterans CQR Aero and IRT Gillard. The car has looked exceptionally strong in testing and could be a title contender.
CQR Privateers
- #277 - CQR VtecTorquE (Ford GT)
- #118 - CQR HABURi (Porsche 911)
- #122 - CQR Vapor (Lamborghini Gallardo)
CQR also has a number of privateer entires, including CQR HABURi in a Porsche 911 (GT3) and Hyundai Genesis (GT4), CQR Vapor in a Lamborghini Gallardo and last season's early championship contender CQR VtecTorquE returns in a privateer Ford GT.
