I'm back & ready to race!
It's been too long since I raced on here, I ran seaons in the Abarth cup & mx5 Spec series and selected GT rounds and nothing since! But I've missed out!
Anyway, the GT endurance series has peeked my interest and I wanna get back on it!
As I've been away I assume I'm going to have to apply for a race number (previous was 25)
Then officially enter a car
Can someone give me a few bullet points of what else I need to do (add on xbl, send paint or pic of car etc) just so I'm up to speed ready for the 20th please
An it's good to be back, you guys have come on a long way even since I last raced!
Thanks in advance!
Ollie

Re: I'm back & ready to race!
paints are overdue now, I don't think you can race unless you buy the TORA staff a round of drinks or somethin.
but ya, number then entry then paint to CQR Aero, then you all set.

Re: I'm back & ready to race!
By paint do you mean send the design to CQR? Or the whole car scrutineering stylee?
Do I need to add any accounts on xbl? I know they were setting up a seperate account (chucky always used to be the one inviting me in )
No worries if I've missed the boat for sunset I'll join rd2 if its a problem. Unless the spotters guide is full season and there are no extra entires?
I'll go grab a race number first then
Thanks

Re: I'm back & ready to race!
Good to see you back Ollie, don't worry we always have sign ups open for all series. The paint deadline was just so we could try get things done before the first round and also to see who would actually be racing or not.
Re: I'm back & ready to race!
Hey Ollie
Welcome Back.
So you want bullet points of what to do.
1: Apply for race number (you have done this)
2: Read the Sporting Regulations
3: Read the series rules
4: check which cars are available (car list)
5: Make your entry (entry form)
6: Paint car and send it to CQR Aero for the spotters guide
7: Add "MSA TORA GT" on Xbox live
8: Post IN on this thread
9: Turn up to the night and enjoy your race
10: Give feedback of how your race went and your quote could get put in the TORA news

Re: I'm back & ready to race!
If you have time on the weekends, you could join Flyin Mikey J's Spec Miata (Fridays at 7:00 PM EST) and/or my German Touring Car Championship (Saturdays at 2:00 PM EST). Only if you have the extra time on the weekends. You should find them in Community Series and Events.

Re: I'm back & ready to race!
Spec miata racing was where I did my first full season racing on TORA! Might have to dust off the car (it's still in my garage) and try make a few rounds, I enjoyed racing the little Mazdas
Thanks!
Thanks!
