In a nut shell, this weekend fell quite short of expectations for the Vipers. We knew that the car was going to be the slowest of the field because of the build rules for the series on such a long track, but things just didn't go our way this weekend.

We weren't expecting so many drivers to be past the lap times that we were doing so we ended up filling the lower lobbies. During the race, however things didn't go much better. We had a few retirements either from damage from a crash or losing connection to the lobby. The best we could muster was a 38th place finish overall.

Standings aren't so peachy as well. In light of all the retirements the teams are now 20th and 28th overall.

ON THE OTHER HAND. Our Loewenbraeu BMWs did a fantastic job this weekend with the best driver finishing 11th overall, which has skyrocketed that team to 7th overall in standings! Congrats guys on a brilliant weekend and we hope for more of the same at Motegi!


With the first endurance race out of the way, we can finally get to a track where the Vipers should do pretty decent at, which is Catalunya. The race is this coming weekend, and I've instructed the drivers to practice hard this week. XPR Roadrunner is going to be in Detroit this weekend to go to the autoshow so he won't be able to race but he will be able to the next weekend, which is going to be held at Suzuka.
