Blancpain endurance series

Hey guys a friend of mine is putting together a series replicating the Blancpian endurace series.
Each race will be 3 hours long (3X1hour stints) and needs 2-3 drivers like the real series.

I tried doing his DTM series and I couldn't do it. I won pole and the race in the one race I did do but he needs help running it, as it was severely disorganized.

I heard his brother crashed out once and rage quit and turned his (explosive Sams) xbox off.

Well I dont expect it to go very far but the concept has a lot of potental just needs a few more teams entering..... =/

I will chat to him about how hes running it.....

I would be interested in this, but probably need to find some more interested drivers for a team entry..

When does it kick off, and what day is it running on?

Hello everyone. I will be running this series. I'd first of all like to thank ShrinkingSteven for advertising the series here. (It's one place I never thought of advertising it yet there are hundreds of people on the TORA forums!)
Anyway, the website for the Blancpain Endurance Series by GPForza is

There are plenty of spaces for new teams but also some spaces where a team needs another driver or two. Please take a look at which car/ team you wish to represent in the series and please Sign UP!

And for those wondering about when it will take place. Dates are not set yet, I want to have enough teams to start racing before any dates for testing or races are set. As for the time, Qualifying will likely be on a Friday at 7pm GMT. The race will probably be on the Saturday from 1pm to 4pm GMT. This way the races do not overlap any other series' that drivers may be competing in such as LLBM, Formula Forza or of course any of the TORA leagues.

Crikey, Nissan GTR vs BMW Z4 GT3?

Unless you have heavy penalties in place, good luck as I really cant see this working

I thought that too! pretty much assumed the Nissan would be a no go! but until we see builds can't comment too much I guess

Just have to see how it all works out. Didnt see the Nissan in the mix. This could be intresting lol

I've done many hours of testing to make sure the cars are almost identical performance. The GT3 cars used will be the Audi R8 LMS, BMW Z4 GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, Mercedes SLS GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.
All other cars will be the standard road cars with upgrades. All cars we have tested and developed are very equal in terms of performance on track.
In the next post I will be listing all upgrades, and any power handicaps a car may have etc.

List of Upgrades Post. The standard road cars used are the Nissan GT-R, Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Gallardo. We are hoping to replace the Lamborghini Gallardo for the Gallardo Superleggera, but we are waiting to purchase the corresponding Launch Bonus Pack.
The Audi R8 LMS (GT3 car) and Ferrari 430 (road car) are currently still under testing, but the upgrade lists for both will be released once they are ready.

Not really finding interest in this since the 458 Italia, the Gallardo, and the XKR already have their own GT variants. Not really understanding the point in using the road cars.

Yeah but those cars are GT2. My series is for GT3 cars and the GT2 cars are both faster than the GT3's and look different to the GT3 cars. The upgraded road cars I am using resemble the GT3 cars much more than the GT2's.

A 15% power handicap does the trick.

Yes Sam, welcome to the way TORA even up the field.

I know but I'd rather not. It would just take away all the realism I've tried to create in the series. Having GT2 cars in a GT3 series isn't how I want to run it. The GT3 spec road cars have exactly the same performance as the standard GT3 cars, yet I find they're actually more stable round corners, unlike the more oversteer prone race cars.
My message to people considering entering the series is, enter with a GT3 car if the idea of using a road car doesn't appeal to you.

Sam, with the 15% handi cap they arn't GT2 cars there now GT3 with the same handling and speeds of GT3's.

But its your series I am just trying to help out where needed.

Yeah. I'll give it a test to see what I think. If I find it OK then I may change my mind. Then the only road car would be the GT-R which would be a bonus. Also there would probably be more interest. I'll try it out and may change my mind.
