In my case, my co-drivers are the 3rd alternate GTE team and if GTE opens up we will race that. If not, I am preparing a back-up plan so that we can still participate. We would prefer to race GTE, but it seems that posting the minute entries open just isn't good enough anymore

Technically that is a Championship-Winner number, not a race-winner number. Since TEC wasn't an official championship until this year, I don't think anyone can lay claim to a #1, #2, or #3.

Its perfectly legal, I have no problem with it. As long as I get my entries in (and one of my Fords), I'm fine with it. Both HR GTE cars are entered, so all is well.

I'm just saying we should let the guys who missed out on GTE because it's full to be able to run them I think thats fair.
